Season opener where Nune's gets his Spurs baptism.

We have played each 15 times, where we have won 10 and been defeated twice. 3 games were drawn.

Our first competitive game was on 9th April 1909 where they beat us 0-1 in the old 2nd division at the Lane.

They have not beaten us again in the league but have drawn three others while we have gone on and beaten them 6 times in this competition.

Our only other defeat by Leyton was in the League cup on 23rd September 1985 where they beat us 2 -0 at their ground. But we have beaten them 3 times in this competition.

Our last win against them was in the FA cup where we have only payed them once, which was on 6th Jan 2001 for a 1 - 0 win at their ground.

You may recall that we were due to play them on Tuesday 22nd September 2020 in the Carabao Cup but the game had to be postponed due to COVID 19.

They eventually conceded the match for us to get a bye into the next round, where we eventually got to the finals, but were beaten by Man City.
