“Personally” - interested to learn how long you’ve known him.

Can’t stand the lazy narrative of a person being a “dick” because they wear a certain type of clothes or have a certain type of hair cut.

I’d hazard a guess, that you don’t know him at all and in actual fact the narrative you’re pushing fits your perception.

Nobody’s perfect, but that doesn’t make someone a “dick”.

Not someone who’s “woke”, just calling it how I read it.
Personally, I think Hitler was a dick. Did I need to know him personally to formulate my opinion?

or was the culling of millions of human beings a legitimate reasoning?

he can call whomever he likes a dick. That’s his right.

Maybe I'll calm down, maybe something will come to light that will change my mind but at this precise moment in time, I never want to see him in our shirt again.
A player of his standing just cannot refuse to train.
It's massively disrespectful to the club, the staff, his team mates and most of all, us fans.

So the Athletic reported this morning he wasn’t going to come back to training, now they are saying he is and that he feels it’s been blown out of proportion?
It’s sensationalist articles like the ones they churn out that help blow things out of proportion.
I wish we only had teletext again rather that shit like Twitter.??

Not very kind though is it?

Imagine we all went round calling each other names without knowing that person.

You’re one of those pricks who gives it all the Barry and then when someone is harmed, starts pretending to care.

Offer to clubs for £200m. Fuck him off to RM/PSG/Barca. Go get Vlahovic (who I'd never heard of a week ago but now is the best thing since sliced bread) and Ings. Win league while City end up in 9th place with a man without a face as manager.

Just listening to the new Gold and Guest Podcast and Ally makes the interesting point that Sonny has arguably been a better big game player than Kane has.

But what’s a ‘big game’? Granted he was anonymous in the UCL final but who wasn't? He scored in NLDs, away wins at OT, home to Chelsea, Cup semis, away at Dortmund …Son is terrific and scored obviously up at City in the UCL (when Kane was out) but how else has he trumped Kane?

Like someone said earlier in this (very long) thread, I want him to stay out of spite. Don't want him to get his way. Use him as a tool (which he clearly is). Score goals and fuck off home and wank over KDB for a year, sell him next year for 100m having made a very strong point.

As a Club legend, he's very much finished. As the "ultimate professional" and role model, he's also finished too. His behaviour has really shocked me. Didn't think we'd ever be sitting here discussing Kane going on strike. The fact that he's trying to save face by pretending he was meant to be back later in the week is pathetic and makes me even more livid.

Out of proportion, he says. Imagine how big an idea he has of himself. That he thought he'd go on strike and it would be OK! Stupid ****.

Absolute coward. Destroyed 18 years of association with the club he supposedly loves for this. If I was Kate Kane I'd be thinking fuck me this **** could go on Love Island next year.... If that's how he treats people he "loves".

There is a certain irony in how this summer has played out - because I believe Nuno is a forgive-and-forget manager, and will be able to help Kane re-integrate with the squad when he comes back with his tail tucked.

But, I’m sure his teammates love how Harry has their back when the going gets tough…

your narrative is already being shown as superfluous.

so, I’d argue you’re a complete moron.

go and argue with the mirror, I suspect it’s closer to your level.

Being as we're all starting to go tinfoil hat, i've stolen some Bacofoil from the kitchen and here we go..........

Kane's dipstick brother saw the strength of anti-Levy sentiment a few weeks ago and advised Harry to take this course of action on the assumption that he'd get away with it on the back of the 'Levy has to go' sentiment.

There you go.

FWIW I also had a greek coffee and read the grounds, plus my hat was tastefully shaped into an old fashioned Admirals hat :D

Do the Kane brothers not realise who Daniel Levy is? You'd think after this long at the club and witnessing Eriksen go through the exact same process, that Kane would realise any 'gentleman's agreement' Levy makes is meaningless. So very naïve to believe it - if Levy even did agree a specific fee which I highly doubt.

Not the most ethical move from Levy mind, but what was Kane expecting? For Levy to accept the first bid, pat him on the back and wish him well? He's one of the hottest properties in world football and Daniel Levy is Daniel Levy - you don't get out easy.

What I think has happened is Kane has mistaken personal with business. I think he thought Levy would let him go over goodwill for 100 million thinking it's fair. Obviously he has been completely naive when it comes to Levy and football business. We aren't selling him to City for a knock down price....
