He should be stripped of the England captaincy.

I'm serious too. Pathetic unprofessional behaviour.

Usually I'd think this was getting carried away, but considering Southgate actually was a model professional himself, he must be taking a dim view of this. Kane hardly got a lot of plaudits in those group games with most of the country slagging him off, so can't imagine this does him any favours in the eyes of the general England fan either.

And Nuno should ask him to get ready to be subbed on in the 93rd minute of every game, only for the ref to blow his whistle when he's on the touchline.

"Sorry Harry, maybe next game."

If he refuses dock him more weeks wages.
Keep docking his wages we'll get a better return than selling him.

But you don’t try and engineer a move like this. He’s just been so poorly advised here.
No he doesn’t get to have the poorly advised out, the Man is showing a total disrespect to the club, the fans and the game itself. He might be as thick as a plank but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a decent set of values.

Needs to be resolved soon either way. Nuno has to know what type of striker and what players he will have. Every point counts. Managers usually need one full season to adapt new tactics so it's already a tough job for him.

Assume you’ve all seen Dier’s IG story…posted 22 mins ago…seems VERY pointed. Love it!! He linked to this post talking about how ‘stacking clubs’ erodes your legacy.

Everyone shits on Dier ruthlessly, but you can't deny that he's proper Spurs.

I loved that comment he made about scattering his ashes at the stadium.

This isn't The Sopranos. There ain't gonna be a hit on him if he's in the UK.
No, but we’ve seen how the press hound politicians and family and this is already getting high levels of interest. Some stupid fans like to put the poison in too. Benitez had a taste of it recently. Best to be out of it. I would want to be.

It was a thing. A stupid thing. And so is this. Thinking a player is 'legendary' is subjective and opinion based. You don't think of him as one, that's fair. But to continue calling those why wish to remember his records regardless of this current nonsense as 'BSoHK' is incredibly childish and asking for trouble.
But… it’s not aimed at those who wish to remember his records. I’ll remember his records.

It’s aimed at those blinkered few who think he walks on water and refuse to hear a bad word said against him because ‘he’s one of our own’ (apparently), many of whom threw the whole BSoDL thing around like confetti in some snide attempt to de-legitimise the conviction of fellow fans because they (we) happen to think that Daniel Levy isn’t actually Stalin reincarnated.

I replied to his story with exactly that sentiment, could not agree more. Do I think he’s ‘great’? No. But I do think he demands a lot of others around him and wants the best for the club.

Seriously i would sell him and get rid and bring two or three in asap... id go on a spree... have a fluid dynamic and unpredictable front line and solid defence with a creative midfield... that is more sustainable and will help us in good stead for the next three or four years...

Keeping Kane, youll at most keep him for one year and he will fuck off... so whats the point in having that hanging over the team and club... makes no sense... unfortunately thats the price of us not competing and progressing over the last two years...

Now is the time to draw a line under Kane and move on... I see absolutely no benefit in the long run from keeping him
'Just selling him' involves City making an offer and that offer not being derisory.

'Going on a spree' means finding players willing to join our rebuild, on fees that are overinflated within the next 3 weeks.

Its everyones ideal scenario now, but it isn't happening.

Sol campbell was way before I began supporting Spurs, but the way Kane is going about this right now is what I imagine as similar to what fans must have felt back then. Betrayal, disappointment, and anger.
Wanting to move is all good and well, but forcing it through like this? And to a rival to boot? I personally think it's a bit disgusting.

What that prick did will never be matched.

I remember buzzing when I got to kick a ball about with him at a spurs road show. He of course said we were good and it made our day. I didnt realise who he was at the time but I was a kid and he played for spurs ( this was before he broke into the team)

Then he came through, got played in all sort of positions but was always great.

He then became the corner stone of the team. A player we had raised and nurtured. I remember being so gutted when his goal against Argentina in 98 was disallowed and telling anyone and everyone he should be England captain.

Then he promised, swore he wasn't leaving. Most of us didn't blame him if he did as we were shit but he swore he wouldn't screw the club.

Next thing you know his on sky holding up their shirt . The ultimate betrayal.

Kane is just a stupid footballer being badly advised and acting like a kid. Campbell is scum . Never forgive or forget.

Except where he says the squad is good and will be hard to improve!! This squad is like Swiss cheese with holes all over the place!

He might believe it!

He's not seen us defend with the added challenge of VAR yet

People saying ‘just sell him’ realise this sets a precedent right? If we stand strong as a club, other players will think twice about going on strike to force moves too. If we sell him at a cut rate, players will have a go to strategy to get out.

The flip side is, if we come down too harshly, players might think twice about joining or signing long contracts at all. It’s not straight forward.

To add a further caveat. Keep him and it keeps a large cloud over the place. He might knuckle down and give his all but he won't be at his best, no one is when they are unhappy. His team mates know he desperately wanted to leave and so do the fans.

At this point the best case scenario is getting a huge bid from City and rebuilding.

We have to be willing to keep him, and Levy will if not for leverage as much as anything, but it's only kicking the can down the road at this point IMO

Then that is the price we pay for not settling this earlier as it should have done with clear communication and signposted saying - 31st July 160m if not then he is staying... and leave it at that... instead we are now in a position where we have a cloud. This happened with Bale, happened with Berbatov and happened with Modric... but really Bale and Berbatove had this logn ass cloud hanging over the club for a while.

Yes, but what if now they spent £100m on Grealish they don't come up with that bid? What then?

I wish people would stop saying that we should just sell him. There's the small matter of a team paying what he's worth. No buying club is going to be in a rush either. We can't just sell him.

I don't think anyone is saying to sell him at a cut-price rate though.
I want him sold, after his behaviour but I also want to screw City over for as much money as possible.

I think we need to accept he's gone.

I actually think City signing Grealish makes the move even more ominous. It they could only have one it'd surely be Kane. I think they'll make a much higher offer by the weekend.

We accepted that a long time ago.

I fear we may need to accept he ain't going.
