I find it hard to believe that people would suggest your best striker doesnt start against the league champions

Well, we know how ineffective a massively unfit Kane is when motivated, let alone when he wants out. I would not be starting him.

Tell him if he really wants out to city, go out and show them what they are missing by not putting in a bid for you!

Then reject any bids and make him stay!

Harry Kane, in a mental state where he cannot stand the club so much he doesn’t bother turning up to work on time isn’t our best striker

And we don’t have any other strikers.

If he started he will be 50% of the Kane we know, maximum

Starting Kane and then subbing him after 50 if he’s blowing out his arse would be more of a statement than starting as a sub IMO.

Which is still better than most out there. And Son has scored in all but one of the pre-season games he has been involved in. He also has a hell of a record v City. In all three games at the new ground he has scored in each of them (and we haven't conceded either).

If I were Levy, I’d tell Kane to submit a transfer request if he wants to leave the club.

I’d also prefer a straight cash fee rather than a lower fee with add-ons. With his dodgy ankles, he might get a serious injury and may miss a number of games which might then not trigger the add-on fees.
I just wonder IF and is a big IF Kane signs for city, I wonder how our players will feel playing against him. Will there be any bitterness and reprisal for what he’s said and done. How he has damaged our build up to the season and played the innocent.

I do think we need to be careful about pushing Kane out the door due to his pissing everyone off. Yes, his behaviour has been surprising and hugely disappointing, but he is still a truly world class player who we will simply not come close to replacing.

We all like nice shiny new players who in our minds will transform the fortunes of the club. In replacing Dembele and Eriksen we were all pretty chuffed at signing Lo Celso and Ndombele, two massively talented players on the radar of many top clubs - at least I know I was. This was Levy finally backing Pochettino by securing his top targets. How has that worked out? I am not saying they aren't good players, and perhaps both will really kick on this season, but the chances of them filling the shoes of Eriksen and Dembele, two of the best players I have seen in a Spurs shirt in my life time, are pretty bloody slim.

And Kane is on another level yet, let's not kid ourselves. You could count on one hand the strikers of his callibre in the world right now, and the others aren't proven in the premier league. Werner and Morata are just two examples of unbelievably good strikers tearing it up in their own leagues who then completely flopped on these shores. We have convinced ourselves that Vlahovic is going to come in and replace Kane's goals, but he isn't even close to the stature that Morata or Werner were when they came. Even if he is a genius signing, it will still take him a season or two to adjust and develop.

Kane is far and away the best striker any premier league club could have leading the line this season. Even if he couldn't give a flying **** about Spurs he will still be so much better than anyone we could possibly bring in to replace him. Even Lukaku would be a significant down grade and we aren't getting a Lukaku.

Emotions are understandably high on all fronts right now, but I cannot envisage Spurs ever being in a position to buy a Harry Kane in his prime, just as we won't be competing for Mbappe or Messi any time soon. So we need to be very careful about getting rid of one of the greatest players this club will ever have.

I don't think we will. There is a reason Nuno has started the same front 6 in most of the friendlies even without kane being available.

I think the fact that he has started Sonny as the striker up top in every game Sonny has been available is telling.

Even accounting for the fact we have no other recognized striker in the squad, if Nuno expected to play Sonny on the left during the season, I think Nuno would have played him there some during the pre-season, just to get in some work from that position.

Again, Simon Jordan on the money. I’m so glad someone out there speaks unbiased sense!

Really like Simon Jordan talks a lot of sense, unlike the shit Danny Murphy talks hard to believe yet another ex spurs player who chats shit abt spurs like Bent and Jamie Redknapp.

Don't want him starting this weekend. Why on earth would you reward a player with a start after the shit he's pulled? Best player or not. Sets a terrible precedent

Bent is a gooner prick anyway and Jaime well lets just say he is 2 planks short of being at minimum as thick 2 short planks

Stick him on the bench and he's got to go out to warm up during the game, the crowds reaction will tell him all he needs to know, no doubt Sky will have a camera on him all game too. Imagine the scenes if he jogs down to the city fans and applauds them...

IF he goes, and I assume that you’re not referring to this weekend’s game but in future games, I think there would be a number of new signings (based on current ITK feedback and reports ), so he’d likely be facing a half squad of new faces , so I doubt it would have a big effect on them. By the time we meet them again in the league, half the season would have passed by and player sentiments would probably have dissipated.
