It's a pretty simple concept, clearly there's an acknowledgement that some of our ITK's (JJ, Gards) are on twitter and that also the likes of Alasdair Gold, Romano, Dan KP, Mike Mcgrath are clearly well connected. Sometimes we will see every journalist firing on a story so there's clearly some legs to it. So rob was trying to find a compromise so that when there's actually an interesting bit of information to talk about there was a place to do so.
If the convo is focusing squarely on 1 player then it's encouraged to take it to there thread assuming there is one otherwise one of the admins will see the chatter and make a thread. It's not much harder than that.
Yes there's some other sources which may be interesting and I'd say trust Univarn and his kid police mate on the validity of it as they've proven to have a good track record. It really shouldn't be this hard to discern.

Glad you posted this so I didn’t have to run that gauntlet…
I’d be a huge fan of this move personally. I think JWP is criminally underrated, brilliant midfielder and the best free kick taker in the league.
He’d be in the top 3 of my wishlist of PL players we could realistically sign. And he’s English, so bonus.

Dier/Winks and cash could get this done. They need cover in the midfield if he goes and CB with Vestegaard going.
