I honestly don't get this sad faux masculinity 'we have to win the negotiations' thing. I want what's best for the club right now, right this second for us to move forward and do as well as possible once the negotiations are complete. In fact from the earlier ITK I'm basically agreeing with Nuno and Paratici who seem to want it done so we can move on.

If anyone thinks that a) keeping Kane and watching him play like he did at the end of last season whilst listening to constant speculation about when he's going to leave or b) getting 150m right at the last minute of the transfer window and not being able to sign adequate replacements are better solutions for our club at the moment then I think they're probably more worried about the appearance of winning rather than actually whats good for the club.
matt, if you genuinely do want what's best for the club, you should also be on the side of holding firm - if we buckle then we send a clear message to other players and clubs that we are susceptible to unsettling behaviour, both by clubs who want to strip our assets and by the assets themselves.

If we give in now and allow Kane to leave for a derisory figure, then in a few years time when our next superstar gets tapped up or shopped around by their family will know that all they need to do is kick up a fuss and we'll give in.

This specific transfer will set a precedent. Either we will be known as a market that demands the highest prices or the equivalent of Lidl - cheap.

What's the Ian Wright bit? Proper missing a reference there? Or is it meaning "Right...."?
There’s a famous video of Ian Wright meeting an old school teacher who was a father figure that he believed had passed away. Very wholesome. Bit of a meme response as well as Wright exclaims “someone told me you was dead” when he sees the old fella. That’s the context!

So basically Ian Wright did a documentary and a school teacher who was like a mentor to him appeared from behind to surprise him.

IW got told that he died so it was like he had seen a ghost. So hes referring to Kane being a ghost/back from the dead.

Btw its a really touching video!

Spurs Fans: Harry needs to break his silence

eventually HK: breaks silence

Spurs Fans: shut the fuck you prick!

haha - ?? brilliant!!

In the same way that Levy agreed Kane could leave if we had a suitable bid, they meant break his silence and explain/apologise, not pretend it never happened.

Because he said absolutely fuck all.

No clarification.

No pro Spurs stuff.

No message of contrition.

Just a completely blatant approach to say 'look i'm working - i'm a model pro - like me still'

Fuck off.

A short clip (1 min 47), but worth a watch.

Never seen that before! Bless him, that's quite nice actually

(beyond the Gooner berkeley hunt aspect)

allegedly an ITK of sorts, from what's implied on BM

If you had any insider knowledge at a football club and displayed your own picture as a profile picture (I assume that's him) then your info would dry up immediately surely?

I really think there’s going to be an extra edge to every team that play City this year. Most fans have decided they don’t like Man City trying to buy the league and the atmosphere will be pretty hostile for every away game they play. I know they started slowly last season but feel they struggle a lot more this year.

Yeah, you're not really reading the room here.
I'd rather he stayed schtum, than come out with the bullshit he has over this time.
