Hopefully this isn't a groundhog window. But it's starting to feel like it.
Fingers crossed.
it will be definitely better than I expected, though we still need more.If we keep Kane, the purchases of Romero and Adama + the other bits (Gil,Sarr etc) constitutes a pretty good window for me.

We have to remember that the rebuild won't be done in one window. We're currently suffering from past mismanagement of the squad. Hopefully, over the next few windows, Fabio can sort this out.

Let's hope all is in hand!
Or don't sell Ndombele which is the most simple and best solution...If we can add Aouar or another creative midfielder + the additions of Traore/Sarr that would be a fantastic window overall.
It's imperative we sign a CM though - I'd even argue it's our most important position to fill currently.

I just don’t see us getting a CM without Sissoko or Ndomblele leaving. And tbf I have huge doubts either will leave.

Sounds more like Paratici has an addiction to telephone sex lines as he doesn't seem to have been doing any deals on all those calls he has been pictured making ;-)
Understand what you’re saying and will agree with you if the situation is the same come 1st September.. but at this stage that’s like saying we didn’t get enough done in a day at 3pm when we close at 6pmNot so much news on outgoings - suggestions that outward loans might be as far as we can go for a couple of them. That's really substandard stuff by Paratici. Liverpool are about to get 12M euros for Shaqiri. You'd have thought we could get something similar for 3-4 of ours. Our recruitment has been poor recently - not because we're not spending money, but because we're getting more wrong than right. I hope we can shift a few and not be in this position again next summer.
The Nelson window was awful as we were going so well but clearly neededOr just 3 years ago when we signed nobody at all.
CrypticHopefully this isn't a groundhog window. But it's starting to feel like it.

Or perhaps transfer activity is less straightforward than you think and the club's constraints (finances, squad size, desirability to prospective players while not in CL etc.) are still present irrespective of who is in charge of our transfer activity.I struggle to believe with the way things are turning out, that Levy is not involved in all of our transfer activity.
So far, we have avoided selling any key players without replacing them, have sold four players who we wanted to move on, plus have added three decent signings and reintegrated two young prospects returned from loan. That makes it far better than at least two of the previous six windows. If the window closed without any further activity I would rank it 2nd of the seven windows over the past three years (last summer being 1st, January 2019 7th and summer 2018 6th). That's not to say I think it has been a great window, but it has been less bad than most others. This window doesn't seem any different to others in recent years, infact worse.
