I feel really sorry for him. He was always the wrong guy for us and he was the only one willing to work within the constraints that we have on any coach who was going to come in.

Dull and mundane. He isnt at fault entirely but wrong guy, cant blame him for taking the job but meh

Will he last the season ? Honestly wonder what it will take for him to be sacked ?

Fear we’ll just keep tickling along whilst watching awful football ?
Yep! Levy doesn't care about performances, or our identity (whatever that bloody is nowadays anyway). Nuno will only get sacked if the performances match the results, though given how we were systematically broken down by Palace, and a high-flying Chelsea scoring for fun against us more than likely, going into the game against Arsenal could be interesting.

Pretty disappointed that he put on Hojbjerg after Bergwijn's injury - such a defensive substitution again. He then did the same by putting on Emerson at RW (?) instead of Markanday, an actual RW who is on fire for the U23s and is stalling on a new contract.

Might not seem like the biggest deal but it's so indicative of how regressive/cautious Nuno's entire approach to management is.
He needs to be called out on this in the press conference but he won’t be. We’re in for the long haul of this shite

Then stop watching. You clearly dislike what you are seeing. You clearly loathe the coach. It clearly is making u miserable. So, give your stress a break and walk away.

Feel sorry for him to be honest. Been dealt a pretty shitty hand by Levy and 5 games into the season. Being absolutely lambasted by our own fans.

Wind it in. He's not even been here three months yet. We aren't going to be a different team yet. Rebuilding doesn't happen over night unless your bankrolled like Chelsea and Man City.

1) We've got players who need to leave still at the club.

2) We're missing Son, Sanchez, Dier, 3 starters. Romero might well have played tonight, along with GLC if they were available. That gives a different outlook to the team before you kick off. If not, at least it adds some more depth to the bench and he could have called on experience instead if throwing Dane and Royal on.

3) He's had to deal with Kane who looks about as interested as a traffic cone. I hope he gets his arse in gear although we actually played arguably our best game of the season without him v City. So who knows, maybe we would be better off with a front 3 of Son, Lucas and Bergwijn going forward. (I don't believe this is the answer, merely speculating, Harry Kane is in the top 2 strikers in the World, but only if he's bothered)

4) It's been 5 games.

TBF we only gave him one year, and its not in his interest to spend another year playing U21 footy, which he will do if he doesn't get a chance this season

Why does he need to be called out? What good would that do exactly?

Not sure I understand this mentality at all. Call the manager out. You want him to be embarrassed for doing his job?

Not sure what you do but I can only imagine if you get called out for something you feel was right at the time you feel pretty shitty or embarrassed too, and that's not with the worlds media staring at you either.

I don't - the guy is in a dream job as far he's concerned. He was basically sacked and out in the wilderness and we took a punt on him. Shame on all of them all around IMHO. This club is finished for the foreseeable future in terms of competing for anything.

If you weirdly decide to play a FB as a winger surely Reguilon is a better bet than Emerson based on what we’ve seen so far. Or why not just give Markanday a chance.

Just think about it, he was going to be the next Palace manager, that's the level we are talking about. We then swoop in and hire him.

But away from that, do people seriously think that with time, he is going to build something here? Just what do people think he will build? At best we will be a boring defensive one dimensional side that grinds out a few wins and finishes 7th.

I'm not saying we should sack him now, but trust me, this won't work out.

The PEH over Markanday sub made sense during that time in the game. We really lacked any control or leadership in the midfield and subbing in PEH helped, to some degree, with that. He also scored the equalizer, so his contributions were important. I'm one of Markanday's biggest fans and today wouldn't have been the right moment for him to play.

Not his fault as he was always being set up as the fall guy.
Levy and the club have again tried to pull the wool over everyone's eyes with this appointment and recruitment.
The fans are taken as mugs and lied to continually this can't be allowed to continue.
Fans need to take the fight to the club now and hopefully someone out there must be able to come in and take over.

Either way you dress it up, the style of play needs be called out on, what we’ve witnessed the first 5 games is very reminiscent of last season which didn’t end well at all.

The more he’s asked about this, the more he’ll realise that’s his main issue he needs to focus on, week in week out.

Fans won’t put up with this style of play for much longer now that results aren’t going our way.

Knowing some of our spoilt/diva players and the softer approach of Nuno, it probably won't be long before they will grow tired of Nuno and feeling more hesitant to accept his ideas.

It wasn’t the right appointment, so why stick with it? Move on before more damage is done.
The club aren't going to sack a coach who has won 3 and lost 1 in the league. They would get absolute pelters from everyone, deservedly so, and no coach would be advised to come to us under those circumstances, knowing that there is a mess to clean up and the last guy couldn't so lasted 5 minutes.

We need to wait and see if he has it in him to do more, certainly with a more fuller squad of options.

That being said, if we get to xmas and are struggling AND a very desirable coach is available, maybe we need to take that option.
