Not hugely keen on the appointment. I thought the first season in the Premier League they were very good and played good football, but quality of football went down hill a bit thereafter and were bad to watch last season., I hope he uses 343. Wolves weren't good with a back four, and when they went with a more 352 that's when they started to struggle. Don't know if that's due to personal or poor coaching. Guess we'll find out.

Is this the thread where we all meet up like after we've been to Prague for the weekend and the plane's landed but we can't face going home yet so go down the local for 'a last couple of pints'?

We need to back him as fans to give him the best possible chance. I’m underwhelmed but that’s not his fault and to be honest my expectations for the next two seasons were going to be low regardless of our manager.

Trying to look on the bright side, I would quite like to see us try 3 at the back as I think it could really suit quite a few players in our squad. With a few good signings we could be an effective unit.

I do think the guy will try to play a slightly more attacking game with us than he did with Wolves. What the result of that is we'll have to wait and see.

As for the Mendes link, I don't like it one bit, but if it's happening then let's get Neves in. Would improve our midfield.

I think, whilst he doesn't fill me with the excitement of some big name super manager, after Jose, and "the search" do we really need that? Hearing him talk in his brief interview, he's a guy I can get behind. I support Tottenham, I want them to win, therefore I want him to win! Come on Nuno!

Time to get behind him. Seems like a lovely bloke and I'm excited to move beyond the chaos that this summer has been. Hopefully he can help us build to a better future.

Totally underwhelmed, apart from Sherwood every appointment I can remember produced a degree of optimism for me and perhaps it's because of the sh1tshow it became I can't feel that this time.
Despite him being an absolute twat for us Jose was a massive statement along with the stadium and then Bale, this last 3 months isn't how a supposed elite top six club should operate and it's a massive worry how far we may have fallen at the moment.
However good luck Nuno but firstly could you smarten yourself up a bit first starting with that bloody beard!

I'm fully behind Nuno, he seems like a really likeable bloke.
Let's see what he and Paratici can do.
