Guy on BBC live-blog saying we didn't do enough to win it. We did. We had the ball in the back of the net twice, both times legitimately before they were incorrectly ruled out.

How many times do you have to score before you "deserve" to win? VAR is an absolute disgrace.

Poor performance, 2 points dropped. If it wasn’t for the red & pen we probably would’ve lost, can’t imagine Conte being happy

I don’t want to see Doherty play for us again, play anyone but him. Not even joking when I say he’s the worst Spurs player I’ve ever seen, had he passed it to Gil 2 seconds before it probably would’ve been a goal

Anyways no time to dwell on this game, we have to beat Watford next game
I actually think Doc played well. He didnt use his left feet, but he did play well IMO

Well as frustrating as it was we didn’t lose. Playing bad and being robbed of 2 goals and still not losing is decent. We can’t expect to steam roller every match. I’m seething as the officiating more so as that to me shouldn’t happen.

Winks delivery is poor. He's had so much time and space to put balls in the box
Agenda... he was the one causing the most trouble and putting good balls in. His ball for the red card where he skipped past ward prowse and put it on a plate for Son and the ball for Kanes possibly not offside goal were as good as anything we've seen since eriksen left. He also had a couple of panicky moments on the edge of our own box but he was our best player today. Hojbjerg is everything people complain that they think Winks. He is slow in possesion and kills our momentum regularly.

I have no idea how we havent won that, but it's not because we didn't make enough good chances. Winks pass to Kane which should have stood along with his pass to Son to win the pen make him MotM. Hugo had nothing to do other than pick the ball out for JWP's worldie. They defended magnificently in the 2nd half. We threw the kitchen sink at it but they stood firm and Forster just wouldn't be beaten. Take the point and move on.

We’ve been perceived to have too many decisions go our way (for once), it was never going to be allowed to continue.

It’s why I’m not too pissed off. It’s the way the league is. We can’t do anything about it.
No we shouldn't just accept the way the officiating is. It's pathetic. This clear and obvious thing is stupid as well. VAR should be able to overturn any decision a ref makes. The whole thing stinks and it needs changing.

If anyone was in any doubt about how Conte feels about Ndombele then this game tells you everything. May as well be be put on gardening leave if he doesn't come on today. It was screaming out for him

Midfield selection was wrong from the start….and that game was crying out for Ndombele once Southampton went down to ten

I wouldn't mind at all to sub out Doherty for Gil.

He's pathetically limited. 1 month to sell, 5 months to be frozen out. Rodon would not be much worse than this wage-stealer.

Conte missed that trick and also the non-inclusion of Lo Celso. Somebody will tell me if he's injured, but thes types of matches where you need your quality creative players that can spot a pass. No need for PEH for the last 30 minutes.

This was a match where we needed to be ruthless instead of toothless.
Lo celso is indeed injured.

Just don't get why they wouldn't go to the monitor for the OG.

Clattenberg says "once the ref blows VAR are never going to look at it" as if that's obvious.

Why the fuck not?! There's literally a goal at stake and a ref who has a shite angle decides the result rather than the guys who can see it clearly.

So fucking stupid.
