Let us not forget Ally is part of the same convo group as Gards and O'Keefe. It's more than possible he's just relaying the same info rather than it being his own, and before anyone says anything that does not mean that I think he doesn't have his own sources, but we've seen snippets of this whatsapp group so are somewhat aware of how it operates.

I think it really is +2 players for him because he would not use Gio or Ndombele anyway. It's more about players who are actually available for selection i think.

We don't want to derail this thread but I'll just say this. Some of these guys hang around on WhatsApp with actual journalists, sources, etc. Obviously when a journo hears something he checks his sources, doesn't post it unless he can get it confirmed, etc. That same standard isn't kept to by the hangers on and so they'll "break" the news and it doesn't really matter if they're right or wrong. This is absolutely what Gards was doing. He might know a couple of people and used that to leverage his access to more people (including JJ, etc), taking their info and using that to leverage more access. It's all a house of cards built on sand and ultimately bullshit.

We are light on numbers because he cant trust a few players.
Moving those on and replacing them with players (you would hope) he trusts and plays strengthens us

What? A forward and a CM? Apart from RWB that is exactly what we were after. And the outgoings are probably just as important if not more so, as we have a bloated squad of players, some with the wrong mentality, some who are not suited to Conte's system. Having funds and space in the squad for the summer window is essential.
