Yeah the price cap was a bad idea, although well intentioned. Would actually be in favour of only awarding 1 point to an away game and increasing points for home cup games.

I'd actually almost be tempted to award 0 for some games - it's not a demonstration of loyalty to go to Arsenal away, or indeed to buy home tickets for a big Champions League game! Most points should definitely be awarded for games lots of people don't want to go to.

People who had STs pre-Wembley will lose the 16-17 season, but I only got mine in the 17-18 Wembley season so one more year before that happens

Yes that's what I am thinking, I was 40 behind a mate who had a ticket at WHL, I got mine at Wembley. I think the the points are going to flatten out a bit

You'll probably overtake them, in that case!

I do think that whenever we next reach a cup final, there's going to be some people who're long-term ST holders but don't do many cup games (especially outside the big ones) who will be very annoyed to discover that they're not actually eligible for a ticket.

Absolutely. But I guess at the end of the day it's true at all the big clubs that a ST doesn't guarentee a cup final ticket, and there's nothing the club or anyone actually can do to make 50k STs/Premium members fit into a 20-30k allocation. Still, it will leave a lot of people questioning what the point of their ST is.

Could possibly be a ST holder out there since 1961 who attended that double final but won’t have enough points to attend a Wembley Final 62 year later!!!

Agreed there is a lot of people in that 150-250 bracket (more than half of ST’s). I have seen people complaining about not being able to get away tickets even though they have had a ticket for over 20 years ?‍♂️

These are people who only want to go to a couple of away games a season. As a poster mentioned a few posts above it’s possible to have only got a season ticket when we moved to Wembley and have acquired well over 250 - 300 points. There’s a reason why they were called loyalty points.

So if your say 70+ and had a ST for over 40 years but stopped going away 10 years ago but still goes to every home match and we get to the FA Cup final at Wembley- you don’t think he’s very loyal and doesn’t deserve a Cup final ticket?

Does anyone know how many away tickets actually go to season ticket holders? The numbers don’t really make sense for the chelsea game because even if everybody with 350+ applied it doesn’t reach 3,000 but the cut off was 374.

its so difficult to calculate without knowing the parameters..but premier holder's are not included in the allocation

Get Victoria Line underground northbound from Euston to Seven Sisters then you can walk the one mile plus walk up the High Rd or at Seven Sisters follow signs for trains to White Hart Lane which is called the the Overground formerly British Rail to save the walk but those trains are usually very crowded.
As I said before probably safe to take a copy of email with all ST details just in case phone packs up or losing etc , must have happened to someone .
I actually like the walk from Tottenham Hale, more.

Let's assume on an average year we reach the QFs of both domestic cups and the R16 in Europe. That'd mean about 4 home domestic cup ties at about 3 points each, and 4 home European ties at about 2 points each, so in total 20 points. Add that to the 40 for having an ST on a home cup scheme, and that's 60 a year or 300 over a 5-year cycle. In other words, this hypothetical person will easily get their cup final ticket with the possible exception of a Europa or Conference League final at a smaller venue.

The people who don't sign up to the cup scheme, but still generally go, will probably be fine too.

Those who generally don't bother half the time or more unless it's the Champions League or the latter stages of a tournament might find themselves missing out.
