If so, maybe it's time to introduce him a bit more to the fans - can't remember a single interview with him. Had a much bigger insight into Jesus with Poch and Sacramento with Mourinho.
Not sure what difference that makes in him taking charge for a game?

If they reverse it I think they will for Tuchel too. To be honest I didn't think it was that big of a deal really. I think the ref is overreacting due to the history between the clubs but this game was nothing like out of control. I thought the players controlled themselves well this time. Just a gathering of players near the end but I didn't see anything bad going on. Its a passionate game at the end of the day, you have to allow a bit of expression. It's no different to letting a few heavy tackles go when it's a heated derby.

Can we only appeal because it was a straight red, a second yellow would have been fair but straight red for them both was harsh.

This is on BBC report so unless FA step in with a charge maybe Antonio will be on the touchline v Wolves.. Tuchel made comments on Ref so looks like he is bound to get a ban but watching the incident again sure the FA are going to charge both of them.

However, the red cards do not trigger an automatic suspension, meaning both are almost certain to be in the dug-out for next weekend's games.

The FA will review the video footage of the incident and look at the referee's match report before deciding on any charges. There is also a right to reply for both managers before it finally goes to a commission.

Tuchel should have got a Red for his run down the touchline after they scored their second. He was already on a booking and that run was deserving of a second yellow.

Love this

Shows what a load of shit Tuchel came out with about Conte not looking him in the eye. He walked straight past him and then spun him round. Anyway, since when does Tuchel get to decide the etiquette of a handshake! Fucking bellend.

On a separate note, Conte needs to sort out the zonal marking. Koulibaly's goal was a frigging joke with most of our players on the near post and nobody covering the edge of the area at all.

We don't really have a problem with this, do we? Personally I think the game has been far to sanitized over the last few years. I want to see the characters and the passion. I want to know these people being paid a fortune care as much as we do.

Don't mind the passion but don't think managers should be able to just get away with what Tuchel did - you can't just refuse to let go of another manager's hand and then start screaming in their face. We have to draw the line somewhere, right?

Conte's yellow was fair enough but don't see what he did wrong at the end.

Yes the celebration was a yellow for sure but I didn't think the bit at the end was too bad. Of course if he's sent off then they probably don't end up together at the end anyway.

I mean it was shitty but it wasn't that big of a deal. Certainly Conte doesn't deserve a card as he didn't do anything. I thought it was just a little blown out of proportion. I mean yes you have to draw a line but not at something that small.

Tuchel’s handshake aggression was easily a second yellow, as was running through the Spurs technical area for their 2nd goal. Conte did nothing wrong after the final whistle but probably should not have said he will always meet aggression with aggression as it suggests he contributed to the melee caused totally by Tuchel.

I can see them saying they can't over turn the red card because Conte reacted. What else is he supposed to do when someone won't let go of his hand? There's also reports something happened in the tunnel between Conte and Kovacic which won't help his case.

We had 4 or 5 players around the near post and nobody around the edge of the area. Get the ball past the near post and that's a load of our players straight out of the game. I've never liked zonal marking because it makes it extremely hard to deal with attackers who buzz around when a free kick is incoming, but at least you should have players covering every important area, and we didn't.

One of the problems is you're supposed to attack the zone. Most of our players didn't move.

They spoke about this after the game. Consensus seemed to be that someone should have taken charge and pointed out the situation. This is one of those things that once the game has started, managers can't do much about, Conte can't be expected to know where the Chelsea players are going to stand. A bit of leadership or taking of responsibility wouldn't have gone amiss there. Hopefully, it'll be mentioned when they analyse it.
