AS in no more transfers? I find that hard to believe that everyone is now just not actively trying to make things happen
I think its pretty likely. Not letting Tanganga and Sarr go suggests there is no one else we want to come in. I guess we could still get involved if an attractive deal comes up but this current set up doesn't seem like the types to panic buy!

Sadly not looking great. Be shocked if someone of any worth came in.
Unsurprising at this point really. When names like Traore and Dan James start going through the media it does sound all a little unplanned and yet familiar. I just hope that Gil is given a proper chance as we will need another attacker this season.

Thanks herc as always. Gonna be left short as usual.
As usual? This window has been nowhere near "as usual".

Did you seriously expect every single issue in the squad be addressed in one window? Even Conte had said its not possible.

Thanks for the info Herc, it is a shame we may not add any more but overall we've improved the squad massively without losing any key players.

There has been talk of holding money back to January, as it might make all the difference being able to strengthen in a specific area if needed during a long season like this one.

Saying that I'll be surprised if no one comes in at all.

I'm delighted with the window.

I'd imagine the behaviour of Chelsea and Man U in the last couple of weeks has ramped up selling clubs expectations of what they can get for players.

Don't think I expected anything else. I am shocked that people feel we will be short when we have moved out Winks, Ndom, Reg, Rodon and GLC and replaced all of them with better players

Thanks Herc. Not signing a top centre back and another attacker will leave us short in quality, no doubt. How many games is Dier going to be expected to play for example!? And to rest him with Tanganga, with all due respect is a big jump in ability. The same could be said with Gil for Kulusevski. This season is so packed full of games in such short spaces of time, Conte has made it quite clear that we need to rotate players with the same level, not jumping in quality from game to game. We’ll likely end up lacking consistency again if we are doing this regularly, see previous lower quality European campaigns, which could begin to undo some of the huge steps we’ve taken forwards under Conte.

You’d hope something will change in the next few hours and we can start to move pieces around accordingly in order to improve where is still desperately needed. I think Conte will press the club hard for more reinforcements.

We certainly utilised the Jan market well and post world Cup normally drives movement so this doesn't surprise me at all. Seems to make good sense, especially if we are been quoted 60m for the players we want now.

Very disappointing end to the window if it pans out that way. Going to be the reason why we fall short of a trophy or some form of success again this season.
Can’t see how that is true. Options all over the pitch and we haven’t introduced most of our new signings yet. If we get anymore great, if not then opportunities for Skipp, Sarr, Gill et Al to get game time.

Sanchez has clearly shown he is capable to step in. I'm not sure how having 6 CBs is leaving us short.

I've actually seen some games of Romero, think he'll be a good signing
