when he gets on the ball sure, but his inaction in several moments of the game is and has been a problem for a long time. certainly not the worst, serviceable maybe, but not up to the standard he is (or should be) accountable to either.

So many of our players are massively overrated by our fan base. There are probably 4 players in this 11 tonight that I’d be confident with going forward to keep us as a top 4 team (Kane, Son, Romero, Bentancur). The rest are either bang average or flat track bullies that never turn up in the big games against real quality opponents

This feels slightly terminal. In the past, you’d feel quite confident we’d turn it around. All I can see is this ending 3/4-0 to Sporting. They’re playing us at our own game.

Someone tell me what the tactical plan is here. I can't work out what the hell we are supposed to be achieving. It's awful, we simply cannot win a football match playing like this.

20 seconds to half time men in the box and Peresic doesn't have the nouse to just put the ball in the box and instead passes it backwards.
