Lambast me all you want but I was thinking someone should've taken it off him. Two pens in one game is tough. Two pens in one game against your own club mate is something else entirely. Not sure how anyone would've gone about that though. Whoever says it to him and if he refuses, they've then put the doubt in his mind.

no it wasn't. People are just biased. The ref was honestly fine, let the game flow. Same with fouls on mbappe. England got two pens, they can have no complaints

I really think when games are between 2 European teams it should be a European referee in charge. Referees from other continents never seem to see the (physical) side of the game the same.

Yeah I don't thinks that's it either. It's excuse making and hides the tiny 1% defeats on the pitch that we had here and there which were the real reasons we lost.
We don't have to blame someone else. We were good. Very good. Just not quite good enough.

Seriously? Mount penalty, Saka foul, Kane foul, Bellingham tackle, another double team saka foul and their was probably the same for France, the ref isn’t the fault that England are out, but it was shocking.

Foul on Saka in the build up to their first goal and should’ve had a penalty in 1st half, Ref wasn’t great overall but he did give us 2 pens as you say and the main thing is it DOENST matter, we lose because they scored more than us and took their chances not because of the ref.
I think Harry was going for the left but I also think he knew Hugo would go right i.e. Harrys left - so put too much on it and over compensated. He knew he had to get it higher but just fucked up... it happens.

Ref wasn't giving us either before they had a look. And I don't think either were difficult to get right from his position
