Another top notch Aussie performance full of grit and focus to make up for the levels of quality we are below our opponents.

Boys should be proud of themselves. And will remember they were on the pitch when Messi put on one of his specials.

Very poor from Argentina, won't beat Holland in a million years playing this way. They get their goal through a non-league level keeper error and a Messi brilliance. All this playing against a nation where football isn't even top 2 sports. They've been the same the whole tournament and look lost without Messi.

I think you're overreacting a bit, though I also don't think Argie has been all that convincing tbh. Australia also managed to create some problems for France, so it's not like they are such a poor team at the moment.

However, if not for a very lucky deflection, Australia wouldn't have been able to worry Argentina all that much. Argentina dominated resoundingly most of the match, save for 10 or so minutes during the first half and those crazy closing minutes of the match (in which Argentina could very well have scored a couple of goals).
