We’re a laughing stock due to our lack of trophies and consistent failure. We’re the only club in the so called big 6 that’s one fuck all for 15 years.
And that’s bollocks Re younger supporters wanting ENIC out - it’s been covered in another thread. Most of the people sat near me in the stadium and all my Spurs supporting pals want them out and all are 40+
Our Matchday revenue covers £100M a season without touching sponsorship, TV money etc so I don’t buy that argument either
edit: apologies @cliff jones i didn’t mean to quote you in this response!
You've already said that 85% want ENIC out? We will find out on Sunday. I won't protest at the detriment of supporting the team. That's my choice, it doesn't make me "brainwashed", or accepting.
Look, I want change, however I am not sure that change to ownership is the first step. Fundamentally, the club isn't being run well enough.
First of all, I'd like to see fan representation on the board and the club to provide a clear plan on what it's intentions are.
However, protesting for change with out clearly defining what the change is, and not being organised about it just makes us a laughing stock.
As for the lack of trophies comment, yes we haven't won enough, however 62 out of the last 66 trophies have been won by 3 teams. Your comment can apply to most clubs in existence.
