Solid performance all round against admittedly pretty bad opposition.

First game in a while that all three forward players looked solid.

On the train home.

Better performance.
Odd atmosphere, more like an early kick off.
Forrest were very poor.
Skipp is fast becoming my favourite player. Aggression, work rate and skill combined.
All this and Liverpool lost which just cements that this has been a bizarre season.
Only real negative was Dier who I thought was poor, but I still love him.
Top 4 still possible.

Pawson is an absolute fuckwit….forest player rolls on floor when we have ball…stops play and gives them ball back…fucking joke just like VAR
This happened against Chelsea as well. We were on attack, one of theirs went down...ref stops play then gives ball back to them. Infuriating.

In relation to VAR, the rules state that "VAR technology should only be called on to reverse 'clear and obvious' mistakes regarding offside".

I think we need to be making a bigger fuss over some of these horrible decisions...it is going to cost us points and the big clubs (thinking specifically of United) have never been afraid to bitch and moan about refs/decisions.

Wonder if the FA will punish them for the FFP breaches that got them promoted if they go back down into their jurisdiction.
Doubt it as the FA is weak and most premiership clubs have enough money to challenge the FA and win.
They are to weak nowadays.

Personally felt it was a 3rd gear performance, mostly going through the motions against a very poor Forrest team. I’m not trying to knit pick at spurs right now, but wasn’t great by any stretch of the imagination today

Decent performance today now we need to replicate that away from home , that's four on the trot at home in Prem if we can continue that at home until rest of season and pick up some away points top 4 is very realistic.
Loads of seats available on the exchange yesterday but seems those who couldn't sell decided to turn up , didn't see that many empty seats,

Just got back from the game. I know we are all entitled to our opinions but I found yours to be utterly baffling.

VAR decisions are so much worse to wait for in the ground. Nobody has any idea what they're looking at, just the reasons for looking at it. I wish they would allow the VAR pictures up on the screens just to give the crowd an idea as to why exactly something has been given.

I saw Richy's offside on the sky sports YouTube highlights and that looks pretty suspect. But that was on a small phone screen, on a bumpy train and half shattered. I actually need to see it on my TV for clarity.

Its bullshit look at Richs feet they are a yard behind the last defender but because he is going forward his sleeve is offisde....fuming

Now they've got VAR it should just be last foot decides it. Would be so easy.

Can't agree here.

One of my biggest gripes about most of our performances this year - an utter lack of urgency in the attack. But today, I saw much more urgency - players really pushing forward - mostly on the right side, but that also freed up Davies and Son on the left.

Kane looked better getting the ball and linking up.

Nothing about today felt like a team going through the motions, just trying to get to the end of the season.
