Our last 4 Premier League away games, 2/12 points against teams all fighting relegation

Draw Everton 1-1
Draw Southampton 2-2
Lost Wolves 1-0
Lost Leicester 4-1

Pathetic
*3-3 vs Saints

We’ve also had the lead in 3 of those 4 games, including a two goal lead against Southampton.

Latest top 4 predictor %'s

Newcastle 77%
Man. United 73%
Brighton 22%
Tottenham 15%
Liverpool 11%

In short, it's over.
I mean, based on what you literally posted above, it's not over.

Every team that's in the race for fourth right now has flaws. No one is guaranteed anything. Look at where Arsenal was last season with four matches left!

Unfortunately with Newcastle’s far superior GD even if they lost at Villa and at home to us and we beat Bournemouth and them, they’d still be able to go above us by winning their game in hand.

Think Utd might be the ones to catch if we were to do it.

(I know that the way we’re playing we’ll be lucky to win any of our remaining games)

Next 3-4 games are pivotal. Wish there was something out there today that suggested we were turning it around at the perfect time but didn't see much at all. Time to dig deep and do whatever it takes to knock out some ugly wins.

Happy we won , cos Tottenham.

But I will eat the proverbial hat if we're within 3 points of 4th at the end of the season. Let alone finishing there.

If we manage to beat Bournemouth next week it gives us a shot at that make or break the following week:

- Newcastle away
- United at home
- liverpool away

Not confident at all, but at least we're involved lol

Don't you ever lose that spirit of optimism. Cherish it. Nurture it in this cruel world of ours.

If we come away with a point, we'll have done well.

I say this as someone who thought we'd beat Brighton reasonably comfortably. Good lord, we're an absolute clown show that got away with one yesterday.

Mate the word I'd use to describe our play is afraid.

We've no bollox/confidence to really take the game to the opposition.

We're tentative, ponderous and lack spirit.

We're relying on individual brilliance from Harry Kane mostly.

That's not going to be enough in all likelihood unless something changes.

Know what you mean and even more weirder thinking we’ve won 5 consecutive league games on the bounce at home. The mad bit of me thinks it’s still doable as Man Utd have got EL & FA Cup plus potentially without Rashford. They could end up with 3 cups finish outside the top 4 and still get into the UCL via winning the Europa League.

Although it’s a painful watch with Spurs it can weirdly end up being an exciting finish as we only have one game a week to concentrate on and to be honest it will be down to Man Utd slipping up like the Gooners did last year.

I reckon the home match vs Man Utd will make things clearer. To be honest I am not losing sleep over the race for 4th as previous run-ins we’ve had as it’s just the rinse & repeat cycle at the mo and we’ve been worn down with this season.

With the way we’ve been playing I wouldn’t be surprised if we get 5th or 6th. As my expectations are so low it will be a nice surprise to scrape 4th but I just can’t see it. For me Newcastle look and deserve to be finishing in 3rd and Man Utd well they just keep getting those results since the Liverpool thrashing.
