I'm fairly sure it's between 3 now. De Zerbi, Nagelsmann and Enrique are not currently in the running from what I'm hearing. Whether that's because we've crossed them off, they have, or they were never in contention I don't know, but if I had to put my money anywhere right now it would be split between Slot and Kompany.
For a millisecond I thought these were the 3🤣

Any idea who the 3rd is?

My top 2 choices so that's excellent from where I'm sitting; honorable mention to Gallardo whom, I agree, seems to be overlooked.
I wonder if Poch is the new Nuno in as much as DL thinks that if all the others turn us down ( pretty likely) , he can go back to Poch who would probably come if we don't leave it too long.

It's almost getting to the point where I'll find the positives in any manager I'm so desperate for this to be resolved.

I'm at a similar point. We could make pros and cons of each person linked but at currently there are reasons for me to back each linked candidate and the general theme of the group is all of them play more attacking football then we currently have been seeing.

I just want the board to be honest with themselves and say what do the next few years look like. Surely they have some indication if Kane is hanging around or not, they would hopefully have a loose idea of how much investment they could expect, and go with the best fit based off of that.

It's literally a coin flip otherwise

I'd be ok with Kompany but my concern is he's quite massively a City person and that makes me nervous

Be interesting if that changes by the end of the season especially if Paratici gets off and/or Chelsea appoint someone first.

What Is curious is that all the press keep suggesting JN is our top choice yet pretty much all the ITK have said it’s Slot and of last night Kompany.

If its those three - I hope its Slot

An old aussie is another jessemarch etc. There are some nationalities that just dont mix with football.

Kompany just something not right but then again with the city connex we have in toure, it could maybe work...

Paddy power has Slot at 14/1, the same as Stellini !!

That Family Guy joke comes to mind with Kompany and Slot over Poch.

‘Not so fast Lois, Poch is Poch, but the mystery Arne Slot, he could be anything, he could even be a Poch’

Kompany could well turn us down too....

He's done such a good job in one year at Burnley he might fancy himself to stay there and see what he can do in the PL.

I feel more inclined to take the risk with Kompany than Ange. Doing well at Celtic is never a convincing argument for me and he hasn't done much else of relevance on his CV. I also think the players would respect Kompany 's playing experience quite highly, especially the younger ones.

In an ideal world, Nagelsmann would easily be our first choice IMO. Levy has already tried to appoint him twice before.

But the club is probably wary of the Chelsea interest and is waiting to see if he goes there. They won’t want the bad PR of our top managerial target going to one of our closest rivals.

If Chelsea appoints someone else then I can see us going full steam ahead on Nagelsmann.

Whether he would want to come is another matter.

Would be hard to tear his family away too.
