Sorry this is pure hyperbole, people need to calm down even though things aren't great right now.

The idea that we would be in a relegation fight without Kane is utter nonsense. We might be a few places lower but we would be playing Richy upfront and Danjuma in far more games. If he leaves in the summer there is 0% chance we don't spend a huge chunk of the money on a top class striker
This by itself is bullshit. Danjuma hasn't started playing (finally!) until recently and wasn't signed until the end of January. Richy, as much as I like him, hasn't scored for us in the PL.

Without Harry Kane from the start of the season, we would be clawing desperately not to be dragged into the relegation dogfight and would be sitting where West Ham is.

But that’s taking into account that we’d essentially play with 10 men aswell as no Kane, he’s obviously extremely important but we wouldn’t be 22 points worse off if he wasn’t here.

oh come on, I just did the stat to highlight a point. If we didn't have Harry Kane we would be shitting ourselves right now. With the year Son has had, how poor the defence and Lloris have been, how the midfield has been overrun, how we have been sitting back every match, how Kulu spent the last 6 months a completely underwhelming player - do I need to go on?...we'd be fucking doomed.

Stats like this are nonsense. Our game would focus on other players without Kane and I think one or two in the squad would be able to score a penalty. Would you also say Man City would be in a Conference League battle without Haaland?

Kane obviously is class and important to us, but it doesnt make sense to talk him out of the squad...

No, obviously, because City have the best coach in the world and the best players in the world.

I wasn't talking him out of the squad. I was highlighting how important he has been to the team and how poor we are as a team otherwise.

But I won't speak about it anymore here because it is off-topic for the next manager.

Part of me wonders whether this is to tempt Chelsea towards Enrique / rush their appointment process. Well known that their two top choices are Enrique and Nagelsmann so if we really do want Nagelsmann as our top choice then leaking something like this could be a sneaky move.
We can only hope!

I know it's part of the media spin, but every single article makes it seem like our board meets up for hours every day and a few will say, "we want {insert name here}" while others shake their head in disagreement and it goes round and round.

Daniel likes chocolate digestive, Donna doesn’t trust the non chocolate side and prefers a rich tea.

Stop wondering.

we need a manager who can work with cheap and cheerful.
I think a fairer way would be to say we need a manager who is backed with the right players, we do spend money
God I am so deflated about everything at the moment ... Help please
nothing new though is it? Just yet another piece of gossip from yet another ‘informed’ journalist. I reckon we have a shortlist and everything else is smoke and mirrors

If De Zerbi, Slot, Enrique, Nagelsmann and Kompany is the list of 5 as suggested by Matt Law and Sami Mokbel, I genuinely don’t think we can go wrong. Just get one of them 🙏🏻
I'm fairly sure it's between 3 now. De Zerbi, Nagelsmann and Enrique are not currently in the running from what I'm hearing. Whether that's because we've crossed them off, they have, or they were never in contention I don't know, but if I had to put my money anywhere right now it would be split between Slot and Kompany.

I'd be ok with both. Both will see us as a step up which is good and neither come with any baggage

Think Kompany can really sort our defence out

Just not sure which of the 2 would be respected more from these bunch of twat players and whether Kane will be on board for the rebuild

It's almost getting to the point where I'll find the positives in any manager I'm so desperate for this to be resolved.

My top 2 choices so that's excellent from where I'm sitting; honorable mention to Gallardo whom, I agree, seems to be overlooked.

Or we’re simply tailgating Chelsea.

Yeah, fuck it - let’s have two managers!
