I just want levy gone, I can’t love this club every time I see his face. I don’t even think he’s worried about the pressure from the fans. We are the only club in the PL that doesn’t have anything in place. All I see is radio and media silence as well. I just can’t stand levy running this club. Why are we so unlucky to have the worse chairman in the PL. I don’t even care so much about the new stadium. It’s a shell compared to what WHL used to be. I see these Beyoncé posts on Tottenham official and all it does is enrage me more towards hatred for this club. Levy is a fraud.

Napoli already in advanced talks with Enrique! Palace want Potter now!

honestly what a we waiting for? Why is it silence from the club? This is extremely annoying!
I don’t think we were ever interested in L.Enrique mate, if so we could’ve got that done a while back. As for Potter many agree he’d not be a good look after flopping at Chelsea, we don’t want yet another ex-Chelsea and he’s not the right character to uplift the club.

From a combination of ITK and credible news sources it seems like our targets are something like:
1. Slot ❌
2. Amorim (likely not going to pay his buyout clause) 👎
3. Ange Postecoglou (might come
into contention once Celtics season is over) 🤷‍♂️

It seems we also tried for Naglesmann but aren’t able to make that work and think there is/was also one other mystery name in contention which the club are keeping quiet.

So I get the frustration in both the time the process is taking us as well as it looking like opportunities are passing us by left right and centre but really the two Managers you’ve just referenced as a stick to beat us with aren’t by all accounts particularly top targets of ours so aren’t relevant to our situation.

I know the search isn’t going now we’d like from the outside and I find Levy as frustrating as the next person but I doubt it was Slot and absolutely no plan B,C,D etc, Trix, WLB, Herc, Hotspur88, other ITK we’ve been given and credible journalists have all said we’ve been speaking to multiple candidates so let’s see who we end up with before continually losing our shit whilst other teams talk to managers we aren’t interested in.

I would rather wait to get it right than rush it just to appease the fans

Unfortunately, Levy's reluctance is not stipulated by the idea to get it right. Whilst they are doing their "due diligence", our list is getting shorter. In the end of this "due diligence" trip we may have to choose between Potter and Rodgers, because the managers in demand are not going to wait when we finish our search.

I would rather T Frank than Big Ange
Pros and cons to both, both would be quite intriguing and both for me absolutely tick the right type of character we need to lift and grow the club.

If we are targeting these 2 after Slot then do you know what fair play to the club because all 3 ticks the boxes mason has been rightly saying we need to tick (assuming in T.Franks case he plays the style of football his Brentford side played in the championship not the long throw low possession business they currently play but I think he’s a very clever coach and willing to adapt.

as soon as i read 'snowflakes' i disregarded anything else you said
I too hate that weasel word.

I only use it to describe the very people who use it - to annoy your average gammon by using (overwhelmingly) his own term against him.

But despite that, disregarding a point because of one word is pretty... snowflaky.

I’m struggling with this. It’s affected me more than I want it too, and it’s beginning to mess with my mental health, why the fuck am I caring so much about something I have no control over?
I know it’s all going to end badly so I so thought of think what’s the point in caring?
Lower your expectations mate, break out of the constant checking loop and try to find other things to focus on so it doesn’t consume you so much if it’s getting to you mate. Uncertainty is very unsettling mentally but as you say you/we have no control over this so easier said than done but try to not focus so much on it for a while. At the end of the day none of us really know how it’ll turn out, we could end up with another Nuno, we could end up with a middle of the road okish choice like a Big Ange/T.Frank or we could end up getting back on terms with Naglesmann, let’s wait and see.

My balanced view is that whoever we hire they won’t be as wrong of a fit as the last 3 managers, I just think from what Mason and Kane and Levy are saying in pressers and statements etc that we have learnt from the last 3 and we know what we need to be moving forwards 💙🤍

FP and the rejig of youth and scouting setups was exactly what you say you want to see. Hiring Munn to take over financial football side is the same. Looking for a new DoF who is analytics based and presumably a manager who fits that mould is what you're saying you want.

Do you disagree?

The problem is we've had a shit season and there's a lot of work to do to get the above in place and people are (perhaps rightfully) impatient.

But I get so tired of comments that fall into the "they could bring success but they don't want it" camp. If that was the case we'd never have sacked Poch let alone 3 other guys since.

I'm more critical of the ownership giving up on Poch because they were so focused on success (and yes, revenue too) having tasted it in the CL final. It was a bad mistake (imo) compounded by the hirings after.

But FP was a good move (despite him turning out to be Tony Soprano) and hopefully this move to more of a consistent analytics setup will prove successful.

in short I don’t believe based on how we are operating and the information as well from ITK that we have clear alignment in vision. Nobody knows what brand of football we are supposed to be playing. That is key critical in terms of success, all top teams have that and we have been all over the place from Poch to Jose to Mason.

This will affect the value of the club to some degree as a less successful club will be valued a bit less hence my surprise as to why this has been the case. You only have to look at United to see how poor recruitment had led to large wastes of capital.

If Munn is able to appoint a sporting director and a manager and set a clear style of play from above to the bottom that is to be followed for years to come we have a vastly greater chance of recruitment success similar to City, Arsenal, Brighton and so on.

However fans need to see evidence of clear thinking and so far this summer at least from a PR perspective the manager hunt has looked messy to be kind. I hope we can shortly see evidence of change this summer.

if Emery can turn relegation threatened Aston Villa into a European team in half a season. With pretty much the same squad. And Ashley fucking Young playing. Then we already have the resources in place to build a good team again with the right person in charge. This doom and gloom about our squad is bollocks. Yes we need some new players. And we need to get rid of others. But we have a lot of world class players. Who need a manager with tactical naus and new ideas and direction. Who can get this over to the squad. We will be back again.

i think all of us have just got into this mindset that everything is shit. And quite rightly. it has been for 3/4 years of turgid football. But most if not all of us turned our noses up at Poch when he first arrived. And look how that turned out?

Sometimes the person who doesn’t seem like “the one” works their magic. Changes the outlook of the players Ann’s the fans. And the club synergies again.

we’ve spent millions on expensive “win a trophy” managers over the last few years. And it’s been an absolute disaster.

I want a Potter or a Ange who comes with little expectation and fanfare. To go and work his magic. Because it isn’t all doom and gloom. As we are all making out.
Well said mate.

I really don't want Rodgers the serial loser but the one good thing with him coming is it's probably the only way we will get Madison, who at one time seemed nailed on to join us. Now there are several clubs interested so with all the delay getting a manager in we are likely to miss out on him and a few others as well.

I personally don't think Rodgers would be the 'only' way we get Maddison

I really aren't emotionally invested in this club anymore. Am hoping we get someone decent so i can enjoy spending my money again rather wasting money every week watching that.

Its like a comedy show, if it wasn't for our fans and the atmosphere in away games mostly. I would have stopped going months ago but i have really had enough lately and it only seems to be getting worse with the circus that is Enic
