And tell me, Ms Carter, what was it that attracted you to the multi-billionaire, Joe Lewis?

Mostly because the morons don't seem to realise it'll have no baring on the club what so ever, and they've even said that!!
Sometimes you have to be careful who you call a moron, particularly when you follow it up with "baring" and "what so ever".

Just wonder if people in football are that worried about people committing financial crimes.
Ronaldo, Messi & Modric all have criminal convictions for tax evasion all happily still playing football.
Uli Hoeness president of Bayern 2009-14 then served 18 moths for tax evasion as soon as he came out of jail was reinstated as Bayern president and now as honorary president having a lot to say about Harry Kane.

Joe should’ve put those stock picks in the weekly newsletter so we could’ve all benefitted from his shady dealings

Never said I wasn't a moron ;) But for different windows, and yes, I like to throw stones in my glass house!

And did Levy benefit from any tips? We have to assume that he could be classed as a friend. Or possibly even lover, it’s hard to say what the next twist in the story may be.
My reading of it is that it's pillow talk or favours to his minions, give them a tip and a short loan to invest saves paying a bonus yourself. No mention of corporate stuff which would be what it amounts to if he'd involved Levy. There's no hint of a mention of Levy and there would have been had they got a sniff. Moreover Levy ain't stupid enough to get caught doing anything like that.

He got caught trying to join a European Super League. Amazing the lengths rich people go to to get richer.

Again though there's a scale of difference here. None of them were indicted by a grand jury.

The indictment covers the period from 2013 to 2019 and concerns companies that were traded in the US either on NASDAQ or one of the OTC exchanges. It therefore came within the jurisdiction of the US regulatory authorities. It wouldn't surprise me if the US SEC passed on their knowledge to their UK equivalent to investigate trading here. Even if the UK SEC is not interested, you can be assured that there will be financial journalists who will be investigating.

Even if DL is squeaky clean, this will still be a major distraction for him and therefore does affect the club.

BTW, just because Uncle Joe transferred his holdings to a family trust, it doesn't keep them out of the reach of the SEC as the transfer took place AFTER the offences.

I don’t think that is true. Levy’s interest in ENIC has been held in trust for many years, and I suspect he and Lewis set that up at the same time for a variety of reasons.

Various reports suggest that holdings were transferred from Tavistock Group to the family trust last autumn. It is not the date the trust is established, it is when holdings are transferred.
