I’m amazed we aren’t trying to sell our unwanted players to the Saudis.
They’re rich not stupid………although the two go hand in hand sometimes
I’m amazed we aren’t trying to sell our unwanted players to the Saudis.
The Saudi's have no interest in our players because they have nothing to gain by giving us money. They have investments in teams like Newcastle and Chelsea and are basically just bankrolling their own teams.I’m amazed we aren’t trying to sell our unwanted players to the Saudis.
Levy is missing a trick here as they are lying over the odds for players and can offer them high wages.
Sanchez would be perfect for Turkey to rebuild his confidence but if not, why not try and get an offer from them?
Lloris, perisic, would be good moves financially for them and adds kudos to the league.
Just surprised none of our players are being linked.
Sánchez offer raises Premier League unease over business with Russian clubs
The Premier League would discourage clubs from conducting business with Russian counterparts after Spartak Moscow’s offer for Tottenham defender Davinson Sánchezwww.theguardian.com
I mean, this is something that has to be answered if Sanchez does wind up there. Its a very fair issue that the club must answer to. If the club were smart, this would already be a non-issue but this is also the club that was stunned beyond belief when Paratici was banned so I imagine they'll wait until the government comes knocking to look into it.Chelsea and co do all sorts of shit and no one bats an eyelid. We have a fairly niche transfer and everyone piles in. Same as always.
Don't take it personally. This is just the war that's currently important to Western media, and therefore also everything connected to the two countries.Chelsea and co do all sorts of shit and no one bats an eyelid. We have a fairly niche transfer and everyone piles in. Same as always.
I don't think staying here for a year with no European football as 5th choice defender is going to be appealing for Sanchez. He might not play a single minute and he doesn't strike me as the kind of character who's only interested in a pay check. But yeah, i'd certainly be looking to leave it as late as possible to see what comes up. Even if that's a loan.I get the moral outrage given the last couple of years from the position of the club selling to a Russian outfit, but I would be properly shocked if Sanchez agreed to go there. He earns nearly £3.4m a year, he's only 27. He could easily say no, sit on our bench for a year and then would have a wide choice of moves as a free agent in 12 months, similarly, he could say no and Spurs would loan him to a lot of clubs just to get some/all of his wages off the books.
Sets a price for the rest of the market because we knew he wasn't going to go there. Why were we even negotiating with Spartak Moscow when taking any form of Russian money right now is a long and protracted saga, even if legit.
Other clubs are interested. Talk to them and be done.
Staggering, woeful incompetence from us in the transfer market as per.
Wasn't it reported that he has refused to go to puttinland???Sod going to Russia. If he refuses, I do not blame him at all.
Don't you dare sell to those Russians but quick take the Saudi money!
Ok.
this is not happening in Saudi Arabia
