I hope so it seems to go up each game he plays well

Not the way we play now. Technique instinct and movement is far more important than strength and pace. All those low crosses and cutbacks need a player who will find that pocket of space. Not bulldoze their way through, or outrun their CB's. We need Aguero not Halaand.
It's not a square peg in a round hole. Both have more than proven themselves as ideal candidates to play on the left. Thats' like saying Grealish shouldn't be playing on the left for City or England. Eze or Neto are just very obvious choices and for that reason their price will be high. If we had to buy several players, as in previous windows, then we have to try our luck on less obvious targets. But I don't think we need to do that now. It's actually hard to improve our starting XI other than the LW spot, so we can afford to be less risky. It would be great if we could get another bargain, but why take the risk, when there are some obvious top class options available to us?2 things, Neto and Eze do not play lw as their natural position. I doubt we are going down the square peg round hole route.
I'm not sure why people get so obsessed with price. A lot were moaning that VDV and Viccario were the cheap options in the summer.
Vdv was 43 million wasn’t he?
Kelly, Gallagher, Eze, Nusa and Redondo. Over the next two windows would be unreal.
Was thinking the same re eze comparison to grealish. When you are a big fish in a small pond it’s natural to play more centrally to influence the game more but for a bigger team moving back to LW might work well f they have the right attributes. For me the advantage of eze is he could potentially fill 2 current squad holes, first choice LW and backup 10.It's not a square peg in a round hole. don't think we will ever deal with Inter though...I want Barella. I think he'd be perfect to play with or instend of Maddison.
imagine we replace Skipp, PEH and GLC with Gallagher, Eze and RedondoKelly, Gallagher, Eze, Nusa and Redondo. Over the next two windows would be unreal.
Add Scalvini, Kubo and a backup keeper...Kelly, Gallagher, Eze, Nusa and Redondo. Over the next two windows would be unreal.
Shame Nusa didn't get to play due to his minor injury. They do have other talented players as well though.
And this guy is up front for the opponent, though I'm not sure he's as good as Boniface, Orban etc. who came before him from same agency.
Reasons?Don’t rate Nusa at all.
Like a lot of Ajax players, Southampton players about 6-7 years ago were the sameI'd be wary of byuing anyone from Bodø/Glimt. They're extremely well coached, and players who move elsewhere almost always flop.
It's more about players suiting a style of football and then buying clubs who play a different way signing them. A failure to understand why the player was thriving in the first place.Like a lot of Ajax players, Southampton players about 6-7 years ago were the same
No sirDon’t rate Nusa at all.
Not the right type at all. Direct powerful runner who suits a counter attacking style far more than a possession based one. On top of that he's 27 and has never put up significant numbers before this season and this looks like a purple patch more than anything else.
His stats suggest this isn't quite right. Stuttgart are the 4th best possession based team in the Bundesliga (after Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen) and he averages 27 passes per game as a striker which is the best in the league by a country mile (Kane for example averages 19 with a lesser success rate), not something that happens if you're relying on counter attacking play and just being opportunistic.
The goals he's scored here so far in terms of quality and variety is really impressive. Shows a very well rounded, highly composed striker very much in control that doesn't just rely on service to be dangerous.
Now obviously it's unlikely he'll maintain the record pace he's setting (which is an extension from the end of last season btw) but if he ends up with 25+ goals a lot of the bigger clubs will be on high alert, even at his age. Maybe this all a long stretched out purple patch, or maybe he's gone up a few levels.
Also, looking at his goal celebrations, I wonder whom he takes inspiration from
