Honestly the VAR/PGMOL/conspricay stuff is really fucking weird. I'm cringing every time I read it.

It's flat earth type stuff now, and gone mainstream amongst the hard of thinking.
We never win anything, making it the most poorly executed conspiracy ever attempted.

The dislike comes from jealousy. We're a club that isn't funded by a state of oil thief and yet we have the best stadium in world football. We've hired a manager than 95% of teams would sack their current incumbent for. We've barely won a trophy for the better part of 2 decades and yet we're still considered a top side in England and Europe.
They hate us because we're a big club and they don't understand why.

Villa have similar but no ones hating them bar normal midlands rivalries. We are regarded as being entitled which I struggle to understand

It doesn't help us that Arsenal and Liverpool fans are probably the most committed social media nutters - and Chelsea and West Ham fans like to think they're banter kings, irrespective of what's going on...

Swear I've seen sponsored posts picking us apart even on an average week where we're not close to each other on the fixture list.

Also, all seem to amplify bad decisions that benefit us within minutes of them happening, while other bad decisions disappear as quickly as they happened.

Villa haven't finished higher than 6th in the league in 25+ years. They were in the Championship when we were in the CL final. They have no city rivals in the league whilst we are viewed as the biggest rival to fans who support Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham.

We are not similar.
