About four threads were talking about him. So rather than derail those I made this.Is the ramp up on here because we’re not getting Nusa or has there been some indication we’re going for him?

But is that because of how Norwich ask him to play? In the highlights reel I saw, he was sometimes playing very wide.
This. We're two top wide forwards and striker away from competing for trophies and even the league IMO.You can generally tell if someone can beat players regularly. He looks ok on a run but not a particularly good dribbler, stats back this up.
If we don’t get someone who is comfortable out wide and who is good on the ball and can do this, we will be looking for a wide player again same time next year.

We badly need quality in the forward three positions.
This. If we really have any ambition as a club we have to go for players that we feel are going to come in and make a difference. And if they are attacking players they will cost money. Otherwise we need to buy a number of players like Nusa and see who sticks.Spot on. Also we’ve already spent £47.5m on a HG winger with a limited skill set.
Our next signings in attack have to be either top quality or players with super high ceilings and the exact profile match in terms of skill set (quick, good technically, great 1v1, can play wide and also attack the box etc).
The following WhoScored statistics might be worth considering:
Height Player League Dribbles per game
173 cm Rowe. Champ. 1.15
180 cm. Nusa. Jupiter. 2.5
175 cm. Koleosho. EPL. 2.2
184 cm. Olise. EPL. 2.67
178 cm. Eze. EPL. 2.67
Does Rowe really fit the profile of a player that this club needs at this time?
I'd say he's similar to Sterling who is surprisingly physical but hopefullymore clinical. He also likes to operate more centrally where its harder to dribble past centre backs. The following WhoScored statistics might be worth considering:

Surely that depends if we're looking for an inside forward or a winger? I know nothing of this player but I do recall Ange saying that he likes having different profiles of player so having Perisic as a alternative to Son at the time and then Solomon was a good option. No he doesn’t. The dribbling stats there are a decent summary.
It’s easy to look at his goals and say yeah sign him. I’m not disregarding his goals as we obviously need goals from a wide player but you have to look at how he’s getting those goals, what positions is he playing etc.
If you watch Rowe (even just footage online) you will quickly see he isn’t a ‘winger’. He’s very much an inside forward. Now if we were still playing Contes 343 with Kane striker or even Poch 4231 where the 3 attackers behind Kane rotated, then he might fit quite well.
But for the way we play now, where the wide players hold the width and receive a hell of a lot of the ball in wide areas isolated against fullbacks, Rowes skill set doesn’t suit and so if he does sign I wouldn’t expect him to fill the role very well.
Also agree that I'd love both Eze and Olise added to this squadI'd say he's similar to Sterling who is surprisingly physical but hopefullymore clinical. He also likes to operate more centrally where its harder to dribble past centre backs.
Having said that, i think Ange likes the wide forwards to contest headers and although Rowe has scored a few headers im not sure he's winning too many high balls on the halfway line. He may have an excellent leap.
Koleosho on the list looks a very good player and I'm sure will get a bigger move.
I'd love Olise but im not sure we'll be able to compete with Utd or Chelsea
We've been doing some great deals so not sure that's true. We got Kulusevski for 20 odd mill and can get Werner for 15. Soloman on a free and more players are running down contracts these days. There are deals to be had including attacking ones. Not to mention we spent 40 odd mill on Johnson so we are willing to spend a bit but they often are no better than the others. We can still sign prospects like Veliz in the summer as well. I think we're doing things well as it is.This. Harsh on Brennan. He needs to get more confidence running at defenders with the ball rather than just countering but he’s 22 with a season of 8 goals in the prem on a subpar team.Spot on. Also we’ve already spent £47.5m on a HG winger with a limited skill set.

There are good deals to be had out there for a good team but realistically if we have any chance of challenging Man City and Liverpool we either need lots of good scouting coming good ie Sarr and Udogie or we needs a few top drawer players. I am pleased with the direction of travel but given FFP now could be the time to really strike whilst others are less active. We've been doing some great deals so not sure that's true. Looks like he has an eye for goal and is talented but doesn’t play out wide, plays in narrow areas and doesn’t really take people on.
On that basis he wouldn’t solve the huge profile issue we have. So we will probably sign him
He has started out on the left 9 times this season and 8 times off the right. He does like to come inside but definitely takes his opponent on, can use both feet, good finishing & decent speed/acceleration to get away. I personally think he has all the attributes to be a very good winger in our set up with the right coaching, look what ange has done with Udogie, Saar, Porro etc.
I Would be really interested to see what he can do with Rowe too.
