    Akioshi has done me a mischief on a number of occasions, maybe standards have dropped but I end up have my guts turned inside out every time I eat there. Oh for bubble wages, just watching the Yen devalue by the day is depressing and making it more difficult for me to get back to the UK...

    Ha! Takaoka is still a rather "special" place. There's now an Aeon mall (which killed most of the trade near the station). The shinkansen should arrive 2014/15. I don't know what I'd do without the internet here tbh. Although if I was single and in my early 20's I'd probably have a different...

    Evening fellow j-yids. It seems most of you are in the bigger cities but if you ever slum it with the country bumpkins in Toyama-Ken (Takaoka-shi to be exact) I help my brother run a pub called "The White Hart". We have 6 T.V.s, J-sports and skapa bs 801 which often shows the Europa league games.
