Jan was incredible today, Dele looks like he's picked up a bit since the last time I saw him at home. It wasn't a performance I'll remember but good to get the first league win at Wembley under the belt.
That was more painful than the trip home. But finally seen us win at Wembley since the carling cup win.
I'm still travelling home, just such a ball ache (well, if I had balls)
I had a thing during particularly the AVB days where I got extremely annoyed about our throw-ins always going backwards or sideways, no matter where the throw was taken from. I feel like it's been creeping back in recently.Think i might get a bonar if trippier took a throw on that a) went foward b) not to sanchez
They started last season in God mode too. We can take them.Holy cow, the City result... my god I fear playing them at Wembley or away for that matter. They are in God mode it seems. Still, this is an important win for us.
Like I said take it up with Pochettino.
But if constantly harping on about Sissoko's known weaknesses makes you feel all warm and gooey inside go ahead. Personally think his contribution was positive as did the crowd who sang the Dembele chant for him. But what would 50000 people watching a game live know about supporting or football?
some can do no right
Fuck off and do your ratings; stop skiving on the job. What he did right was run in a fairly straight line, unchallenged with the ball. Twice. There, I’ve said it. Enjoy.
I’ve been a season ticket holder for 30 years and going to Spurs for about 40 years, does that qualify me to say Sissoko is a bit shit? Or is it only people who attended today’s game?
You know, if you (or whoever it was) had just said “Sissoko’s been ok since he came on, couple of decent runs, fucked up final ball though” instead of “Sissoko’s tore them apart since he came on” you might not have got the response you got. Then again, maybe those at Wembley today were all looking the other way when he completely fucked up the simplest of chances to play a team mate clean through in a 4 v 1 break?
I disagree. We will have chances against a team that wants to attack. Not hang on for the draw. Not one team so far this season has come to play us at Wembley never Chelsea sat back. City will come to play. And this will open up the game. Which will in turn give us oppotunities. Whether they score more than us remains to be seen. But. We will look better against teams that want to play football. That 4 v 1 situation highlighted why we won't beat city this season imo: We lack that cold, clinical mentality as a team. We have individuals like Kane and eriksen, but
collectively we don't have it so far.
I don't get why we can be so good away this season so good at home last season but stick us at Wembley and we seem to run out of ideas.
