Once you have an attitude towards a player, it never changes, whatever they do.

You're a very weird guy.

What about Trippier and Davies ? Didn't rate them much for the first year/two or so they were with us. Mullered Son first two years he was here, now praising him most weeks. Thought 40m for Sanchez looked a bit nuts first 3/4 games, now loving the guy mostly, criticised Alli heavily first couple of months this year, praised him heavily last few games.

But don't let a good old "BC and his agendas" narrative get in the way of the truth whatever you do.

Aurier's delivery is not great a lot of the time. That is not bias, it's just a simple fact. I told everyone that before he arrived, my exact words were "not great but marginally better than Walker's on a good day". That is not bias, it's come from seeing loads of Aurier. And I mean loads.

This game is easy to win...poch just has to make the early changes.

It really is that simple.

It was never an easy game to win today. I had a feeling we would struggle. Mainly because if we win we go fourth. When we need to win we rarely do.

While Dele is a very good player he ain't no messi. I wish he'd have a word with himself. Stop fucking about and trying to be a clever little shit and start really working.

Don't know why Sissoko is getting so much stick

True Sissoko has'nt been good, but Dele has had a far worse game and has been losing the ball far to easily
Dele has a track record of notching plenty of goals and assists

Sissoko has a track record of being awful at football alongside one or two 6/10 acceptable performances

I think it’ll come out in the week that there was a big bout of something or other they caught in Barcelona ala lasagnegate and it’s affecting half the team. We’re a much better team now than we were back then so hopefully we can get through this with a win and get everyone fit again for the next game.

Robbie Earle just made a good point on NBC. With Eriksen and Lloris out with a virus, there could be come who are playing not feeling 100%. Time to roll up the sleeves and grind this one out.

Everyone's slating Sissoko, but he's been more involved than Son today. Dele seems to be finding the conditions challenging as well - he keeps looking down at the ball rather than up at where he needs to play the pass.

The question is how long Poch will leave it to make a change. We need Lamela on, probably for Sissoko.

In an ideal world poch would sub aurier, sissoko at h/t. More chance of us winning the league though sadly

We’re already a stodgier side without Eriksen. Compounding that by playing Dier, Dembele and Sissoko together in this game is an utter joke.

Sack Poch?

I mean if he's an utter joke then we really need to think hard about keeping him as manager.

FWIW - I don't think that was nearly as bad as some are making out. Southampton are right in a relegation race and have come to score. And have. We can't expect teams to roll over and die. We are still in a good position and have strength off the bench to come at 60 minutes.

Well, that was pile of utter wank.

Nothing that having an actual midfield and someone to link that midfield to the attack couldn't fix.
