Millwall have re-signed Tim Cahill on loan until the end of the season.

Well that's Vertonghen with a black-eye if we face them in the Cup.

Talk on Sky that Schneiderlin is available for 22m. West Ham sniffing around according to them. That would be a great shame. Wouldn't mind him teaming up with Vic again.

Seems to be playing fairly regularly for Everton, would be odd them letting him go.

Or, to put it another way, never been the same player since he parted company with Pochettino.

Maybe, but Schneiderlin was a good little player for Soton in their rise to the PL (obviously that was at a lower level) and then established himself - some of it under Poch, yes. Whenever I see him play now he cant seem to control the middle of the park and he was always quite a low error rate player - not the case now. For me it's like the Utd move/failure has completely knocked something out of him - confidence, form, ability... something.

I had a look on the main Everton forum earlier this week and a majority seemed to despise Schneiderlin and can't wait to be shot of him! They say he's lazy, has a weak mentality, runs away from the ball, and basically that he's the epitome of everything wrong with the club atm. They also rate Gueye higher and believe a partnership between the two is unworkable.

Seems like the guy has lost all confidence so a change of scenery may be the best thing for him. Personally I think he'd be a great signing for Ham in the long run if he can be woken up (questionable that Moyes is the man to do it maybe).

The Utd. move was pretty disastrous for him for sure. I thought he was great beside Wanyama and was really disappointed we couldn't get him. We could do with a bit more creativity in CM without the defensive drop off so many other players would bring. I don't suppose for one second we're interested, but 22m sounds a bit of a bargain to me.

Probably on inflated wages. Too big a risk at 28 imo.

regarding fred to city there is something deeply disturbing when a country owns 4 clubs and part owns 7 others .It transpires that city are to buy Harrison from New York city owned by the same people ??????????If you believe this to be not in someway against fair play rules hold up your hand . West Ham are to be investigated for having state help in getting the olympic stadium this sounds correct to me but why is it not state help when the country that owns and part owns all these clubs cannot be done for state help or is that country aid only applies if the aid is given to the club residing in that country but you can contravene the rules if they are outside there boundaries .....city and psg must be stopped from paying wages and transfers that only they can afford because they as sovereign state owned clubs are exempt from state aid

Anyone else thinking Sturridge on loan would have been worth it? Would suit us massively if we could get him playing again.

Agreed. I also think he'd be a good signing for West Ham (a very non-WH signing in manyr respects) if they can get that bit extra out of him again.
