I seem to recall he wanted a release clause and wasn’t really happy about not having one. He also really wanted to go to Juve but they wouldn’t stump up the cash. I think Monaco in the end offered him more money and a release clause so he decided to move there. Essentially he wanted to view us as a stepping stone from the get go and we were not willing to accept that.

Aubameyang is best through the middle IMO of course hes not the creative player they had in Sanchez and what they lack right now is creativity its why Lacazette isn't really performing. Aubameyang hasn't played as a winger or wide player on the left hand side since the 2013/14 season.
