Meyer seems to be the most logical choice for a German player. We've been linked before, he's been playing CM, and he'd bring some of that creativity we lack when Eriksen isn't on the pitch. Bailey would be the most exciting. For anybody who hasn't seen him play check out the YouTube highlights. He's an absolutely phenomenal young talent.

Is there any that we'd realisticly want though?
Reus is always injured,
Phillip is average,
Schurlle is not very good,
And sancho would be waay to expensive.

You are forgetting one. He can play all 3 AM positions and has also been linked through itk

Would be an incredible signing if we managed to get Werner, and I guess we have been after him for a while. But I'm fairly certain we missed our chance to get him. Would be surprised if the player in question was anyone other then Arp.

Edit: Are we sure 'long term target' means someone we've been looking at for a time, though? Maybe just a youngster for the future, or a deal for the summer?

We've had ITK very recently on a young German player, so I never can understand why people start throwing names out like Werner, etc.
