People go on about how players exaggerate to con refs but that is the reason why. Referee has completely bottled it, should have been a straight red, he wasn’t ever looking at the ball.
The ref has a duty of care and has completely failed there, he should be disciplined.

My stream just didn't show a replay so I'll have to wait until later now, but yeah it's very likely I'm wrong as I only saw it once in real time.
Which to be fair to the ref is all he saw aswell, maybe we're both wrong but to me it's understandable how he didn't think it was a yellow first viewing.
