We have a very keen interest in Timo Werner. We are in discussions with his club. Going to come out anyway. Happening is another thing

The potential deal makes a lot of sense from our point of view, young, sensible wages, huge selling on potential and is on the fag end of a contract so the fee will be within reach. He could also play off Kane when both are fit. Get it done Levy!

Timo Werner just makes far too much sense for it to actually come off. Pretty much zero downside.

Something will make it too difficult.

I signed him on my Fifa career mode last week and I can report that he scored in all of his first 5 games lol! He is 100% the type of signing we should make although I fully expect Liverpool to steal him. Exciting link thanks Herc!

We’re not signing Werner- no fucking way. None of it makes sense. More chance of Monty, the family hound, shitting in the downstairs toilet and flushing afterwards than this happening

even if we were willing to pay what they wanted i don't think he would come. he can play as a winger but his main position is striker isn't it? I don't think he (or anybody else for that matter) wants to compete with Kane. Plus he's german - they usually stay in the bundesliga.

I really can't imagine them selling now, Leipzig are currently 4th in the league, Werner leaving could potentially destroy their CL hopes. Much like us with Eriksen, I don't see them selling until summer unless someone pays way over the odds. And we all know Levy won't do that.

Might as well get the customary “well least we tried to sign him” in now.. As we all know how this will end.. Werner signing for Chelsea, Liverpool or more than likely Bayern

Son has been playing as a striker alongside for most of the season (diamond). Werner in theory could do the same. We could certainly offer plenty of game time. More than Liverpool who are also linked IMHO.

No chance on levy spending 40 m on a striker that from March will be spending 70 % of the time on the bench.

Really can’t see this coming off and if Werner is available ready made for a team like Chelsea to steel him
