With respect, 18 years in which we’ve built a new, world-class, state-of-the-art stadium; world-class training facilities; and have gone from a slumbering, misfiring former giant that struggled to finish mid-table, (at one point was flirting with relegation as late as May) to a club that was being talked about as potential champions this season and which has qualified for the CL four seasons in a row?Believe what you like but 18 years of ENIC would suggest otherwise. But that’s not at issue. We all want signings. But alleging mismanagement when you look at where we are compared to where we were is a bit of a stretch wouldn’t you say?
Sorry, cliff, one further point: the decade isn’t over until next year, so if we win something next year, the record stays intact. Cause for optimism, I’d say!
