To be fair he has a back 4 of full backs and is having to play hojbjerg in the absence of bissouma, Maddison, sarr, Skipp.
If richarlison could time a run we'd have 3 goals ourselves.

Yeah, I have to agree this lineup did not look prepared to play today. Injury and suspensions are part of that, but shocking display reflects on manager.

He’s doing himself no favours with late subs and continually playing players out of position and not giving the youth a chance.

He’s got a free pass this season, especially with the way the club decided not to both investing in another CB and the injuries, but he can’t take it for granted.

Dier is fucking tragic and Phillips and dorrington have no top flight experience. Hardly 3 proper CBS.

Think he got it wrong tonight, don’t like seeing Royal and davies as a CB pair, left it too late for the subs.
Not going to go overboard because if we had CB depth it’s a different game.
Get new players in early jan and with the players coming back, top 4 is still there.

Emerson was ok against West Ham and Man City but he was brutally exposed back there with Davies today, PEH was shocking too but the whole team just wasn’t at it.

But they are CB's, and the two boys are decent on the ball as well. You say Dier is "tragic" but the fact is as a CB so is Emerson. And the 2 young lads will forever be green if they never get any minutes.

When you’re playing full backs in central defence while having 3 centre backs on the bench. Not really sure I’d call that an agenda.
anyway I think he’s pretty naive at times and has a lot to learn at this level. Not really sure why he has concerns over Lo Celso either.
