Good riddance. Should have gone 6 years ago. Useless
6 years ago? so not the season before last when he was a regular at the back helping us get 4th place? I can only assume by your comment you don't have the best memory doubt you can remember back 6 years.

I'm really happy for Dier getting this move, I think it will suit him and he may well surprise some people. He has given a lot for the club, has always been a consummate professional and he probably helped us secure Dragusin in the end as well. Good luck to him. As much as I despise Bayern Munich, I will still be hoping to see Eric and Harry holding up that Champions League trophy in a few months time, having beaten Arsenal along the way....

Great servant for the club, for some reason wether it be injury, illness, manager or playing style I don’t think he has ever really met is true potential, maybe he did get stale and I think he probably should have moved on a few years ago, however nearly 10 years with our great club, thanks for it all Eric.

People forget how good (at times) he was for us. That season he had as a DM under Poch was majestic. We were all crying out for a DM that summer but Dyer moved into it and was arguably the best in the league in that position, that year.

His bromance with Dele will last long in the memory. Good times and good luck to him. Probably stayed a 18 months longer than he should, but I’m glad he’s got a good move to a big club.

Great servant to the club who has been loyal to us and been a really solid player for us over the years, one of our best central defenders.

Time is definitely right for him to move on as he doesn't fit the system that Ange plays. G|ad he has got a move to a very decent club - and wish him all the best.

Agreed. He covered all over in his first season and then had three fantastic seasons, with the first as you mentioned at DM. He was part of that next step the club took with consistent UCL finishes.

He had that weird injury the 18/19 year and it seemed to take him a while to recover from that. Then had some form pick up under both Jose/Conte but always seemed to pick up, and to be fair would play through, injuries. At times he wasn't as good, at others he was just a scapegoat.

Tuchel to me fits that Jose/Conte mould, I think he'll do well over there. Best of luck Eric.

there were times we hated you Eric, as I'm sure there were times you hated us, as fans. But once you crossed the white line, you always gave it your all and wore our shirt with pride. More importantly, you were always a great teammate and an even better human being! You always had your teammates and the clubs back and for that you will always be one of us! Thank you and go well - I hope you smash it over there & fly the spurs flag even higher!

Proper professional Eric – thank you, for everything!

Was there for that first match, away to West Ham – a goal that will be impossible to forget. Very fond memories.

Good luck Eric and thank you.

An excellent servant to the club and played a big role in our nearly years under Poch. I recall numerous occasions where he'd throw himself in front of the ball for that last ditch tackle or block.

Through injury and age he's lost his edge, but nonetheless, he is part of the clubs progression over the past 10 years and deserves nothing but respect from us.

I think and hope he'll do well in the Bundesliga. Another player to leave us and most likely pick up some trophies and medals along the way.
