I'm looking forward to all the made up shit as we approach the deadline and news sources become desperate foe eyeballs and clicks. :)

I think the way we got our house pretty much in order in the first 2 weeks of window means we are pretty well placed to make some last minute moves for some good opportunities due to lengths of contracts and FFP situations.

On that basis, it wouldn’t surprise me to see us move for Lloyd Kelly - who’s available on a free in the summer anyway however, and/or Conor Gallagher if Chelsea actually decide that they want to sell him.

The window has been adequate.

Highly rated CB in - but if we’re being honest we managed the squad badly last summer in that dept and we all know we left ourselves short. So this was the bare minimum given it should have already been sorted. It cost us points.

Werner is a decent signing for cover. Especially with Sonny absent. But with those two and Johnson we have very similar profiles and only one attacking midfielder who plays to their on the shoulder strengths. A bit of a low value opportunistic signing that we like from a financial perspective.

window has been ok - nothing more or less - in my opinion.

For a January window it's been good. We have got what looks to be a potentially top class centre back which was absolutely vital to the squad and we brought in Werner who we could potentially sign in the summer for relative peanuts. Both first team rotation players right now and significantly strengthen the squad. Would have been nice to get Nusa in but now we are aware of the injury concerns maybe it would have been too much of a risk. I don't see what else we could have done really.

Pretty much a 10/10 for me in the sense of what we needed vs what we achieved especially factoring in the market and our rivals doing so little business.

Compared to the rest of PL clubs a great window plus the bonus that the summer window already started with Bergvall.
Can we assume that with Munn, Lange, Ange working together and Fabio still in the background that Levy has really taken a back seat and letting others guide the club along the right path.

I was watching TLW on repeat this morning and they had POK on. He was saying that for summer we would be looking for another defender, a midfielder if PEH goes and an attacker of some sort. He did say that he wasn’t sure what attacker as apparently Spurs are impressed with Richy of late and may reevaluate the need for another striker.

Does make you wonder how the likes of Bergvall, Devine, Phillips etc will fit in. I guess maybe defender could also mean L/RB but I’d be disappointed if we ended up not giving Phillips a chance. Assuming he impresses for the rest of the season.

With the pending arrival of Bergvall this moves this from a good window to a really superb one. I've been so impressed with how we are approaching recruitment over the last year or two. A complete turn around.

We were linked with Riccardo Calafiori in the Italian press a few times. LB/CB I think. Wouldn’t surprise me if he is who we go after. I think Davies may go in the summer.

That’s certainly how it appears. Funny seeing a handful of fans trying to blame him for the Nusa deal falling through and when it looked like Dragusin might have gone to Bayern.

The days of wheeling and dealing for a quick buck further down the line are seemingly over, football people building a squad is taking precedence.

Outgoings and youth loans 9/10

Incomings 10/10 for intent, bringing players in early, the last day Swedish wonder bread and taking into account other clubs FFP issues and how difficult the winter window is.
A CM would have been nice but I'd rather the right player than any player.

Devine and Phillips, for me, need to be playing week in week out on loan. If they perform well this season then hopefully a top team in the championship next season.

I'd rather sign lloyd kelly on a free for the 4th CB role and then have to sell him in 12/18 months for a small profit and let Phillips develop elsewhere

Not on here, I scan a few of the YT channels to get a broader view of things, I generally can't tolerate too much of their nonsense tbh but it's good to get an idea of the bigger picture at times to see where our fanbase is at, even the plonkers.
For context it's a channel that's very heavily Levy out.
That's it then. Either massively agenda-driven (the whole hardcore "Levy out" thing is looking more and more like a weird cult at this point) or screaming for attention by being contrary in a desperate attempt to get a bit of engagement. Take those 2 kinds of shouty idiots out and everyone else is saying this has been an absolutely stellar window for us.

Yep, I'd also add in that the first two weeks of the summer window could be a bit different, what with FFP accounts due, so we're keeping an eye on who might be available then, with a host of our own players out of contract in 2025 it puts us in quite a strong position.

The outgoings have been really important this window as well. The loans for the youngsters could be hit or miss, but moving Lloris, Dier and Perisic are all signs that the club is looking ahead and being more focused on moulding a proper Ange squad.

I'm not sure you can ever create a perfect squad, but we are definitely reducing the number of problem areas.

8/10 for me could've done with another forward player and a CM now but I'm extremely happy with the business we've done.

Summer we need Udogie rotation option, another CM upgrade on Skipp/Hojbjerg and a striker to upgrade/rotate with Richy
