They definitely will. And they'll sell a few players to Saudi for a quarter of a billion clear profit. And they'll be absolutely fine. Nothing bad will ever happen to Chelsea.

I suspect most neutral fans will be deeply suspicious of this happening, but Fair Market Value rules should put a stop to this happening, Saint-Maximin to Saudi had teams questioning the valuation and that was only £25m, I'm not sure there's a way out unless they sell a load of HG in the first two weeks of the summer window, they do some clever accounting or its not as bad as people think.
I suspect a £50m valuation on Broja says it's probably as bad as these financial experts say it is.

No sympathy from any Spurs fans but they have still got a trophy cabinet to be envious of, they are already in a final this year, and, unlike us, are still in the FA Cup.
Like the rest of you I hope they get massively penalised for any rule breaking

I know you’re half joking here, however on the Saudi talk, players seemingly dont want to go there, and those that have reportedly want out. Hopefully that closes any potential “dodgy” deals. I want Chelsea to get proper f**ked :)

Todd was banking on poch getting into the top 4 which he stupidly thought was realistic having spent close to a bil

We have Bergvall coming in the summer, Devine returning from his loan as well as Donley. I don't think we'll look at Gallagher again unless those two both go out on loans.

If we are talking about capitalising on their situation however, I'd actually like to see what Mudryk could do in our system. He's a good two way, 1v1 dribbler and with a bit of refinement could be some player.

We should offer 10m for him and count themselves lucky we are bidding

Players would have to agree to go there. It's a shithole and many are desperate to leave already, even if it costs them a fortune. It's a bubble about to burst imo.

But what can anyone actually do about it. If they do sell Lukaku for £100m what can actually be done about it?

The Premier League have Fair Market Value regulations, we'll see if they work in the summer I guess, I think they'd also need to sell Lukaku for more than that to create any real profit.

You forget about Gallagher and throw everything at Cole Palmer in the summer. Maybe Madueke, since he's club trained.

They won’t be able to afford to sell him because of how they’ve amortised his contract. They’d need to get huge money to make it worth their while.

Only players they’ll be selling are academy products and they’ll want good money for them too.

cole palmer wont help much with ffp though, it will help a bit but they need to sell all there youth players first

Yeah and add to that the fact that they gave up this evidence voluntarily suggests to me that they know they won't be punished for the previous owner's transgressions. Why else would they do it?

Now if their own transgressions are enough to land them in hot water then I'll take enough joy just from that.

I guess if they didn't report it and someone else found it later they would get a far harsher penalty. Look at how the City info came out and you can see that it's possible. I'd be surprised if there's a promise that they won't be punished, but they'll probably be treated more leniently having self reported the actions of the previous regime.

it beggars belief that they could have been so stupid to have got themselves into this position, having spent circa £1 billion in 3 transfer windows buying a squad that is imbalanced, not good enough and with gaping holes, particularly up front to say nothing of the PSR / FFP implications.

Oh Dear
How sad
Never mind

;)

The thing that gets me is that Todd Boehly and the rest of them are quite obviously not stupid people - to have accumulated such wealth they cannot be dummies.

But part of being “clever” is knowing what you dont know - arrogance seems to have got the better of them.

with the undisclosed, under the table payments from the Abramovich era also hanging over them, I hope the EPL absolutely destroys them as a football club and sends them down 4 divisions

Not been keeping tabs on the Chelsea shitshow this season but is Poch at risk or have they written off this season as a bedding in season?
