Big Tom's been there a couple of years I think. Doing good work with their youngsters.
Yeah, it's a bit of a new idea really. He's a coach/player, so he's learning his coaching (I presume taking his badges) and helping coach throughout games on the pitch.
It does take away a youth place for games but it's probably good for the youngsters to have a coach out there with them and it's a novel way of training a player to become a coach.

Certainly an interesting way of doing things and I wonder who came up with the idea?

Liverpool have an ex player doing the same. Cannot remember his name, ended up at Bolton, midfield player.

Double header on Spursplay tomorrow U'18s and U21s, wonder if they will be showing first half of U'18s at the stadium before the U21s start.

We'd have a great chance to finally win the youth cup as someone said the other night. we'd play the winner from the Bristol tie. The other teams left are:

Man City/Tottenham
Millwall
Bristol City/ Swindon Town
Leeds Utd/ Liverpool

Getting through on our left side too many times for comfort. Just had two dangerous crosses across our 6 yd box. Only great defending kept it goalless. If this continues only a matter of time.
We look a bit overawed at times.
