The things we choose to complain aboutCan the DJ at the Emirates please STOP playing entrance themes? It's ruining my enjoyment listening to them when it comes from those speakers...
It's a match I have to moan about something right? The things we choose to complain about
Yes you do.It's a match I have to moan about something right?
Rachel Brown-Finnis is always saying stuff that leads me to shake my head and think "Really?". I'm really pleased that someone else has noticed. I'm just a little concerned that her Producers haven't.Robert definitely has learnt his lesson since those City and United games earlier in the season and whilst it’s never nice to lose, at least it wasn’t a thrashing and we generally defended really well. Amy James-Turner was excellent.
What wasn’t excellent was the BBC punditry/commentary. I get they all played for Arsenal at one point but could let make it less obvious that they only cared about an Arsenal win? So much talk of Arsenal not being at their free flowing best, and so little talk about how Spurs disrupted that and made it hard for them. Rachel Brown Finnis made several statements about Spurs which were just plain not true as well. Their knowledge of any team outside of the top 4 is so poor.
I doubt they care.. Just seems to have that "She's an ex player so must know what she's talking about." vibe. From the comments she made about how we usually set up and the players in the squad it was so obvious she does no research. She made a comment about how we rotate goalkeepers and that Becky Spencer always comes in for the big games. The goalkeeper rotation isn't a thing anymore, and even when it was, it was usually Tinni who came in for the games against the big clubs! Its just so poor.Rachel Brown-Finnis is always saying stuff that leads me to shake my head and think "Really?". I'm really pleased that someone else has noticed. Not exactly how I pictured the goal having read the above haha
