Not really sure why media have gone in really early in saying "its almost a certainty for England to have it ". In that case.
Yep, it would have been done had Qarabag hung on a few more minutes, but alas. And then that draw went basically as badly as it could possibly go.

Dont really care about the Conference, Villa are morons if they dont win that, terrible tournament.
I'll pull you up a bit on that as Villa's only real rival should be Fiorentina and they won't meet before the final. If that is the final it'll be a very interesting game.

The run-in, as suggested by Opta.

I think Tuchel can get the better of Arteta, but I don't think he has the players to do it. Leverkusen should probably be favourites for their game. Then again, West Ham at their counter attacking best could cause an upset.

After Villa I thought we'd go on and take that 4th spot, now I'm convinced there'll be 5 teams in the CL next season and we'll finish 6th behind Villa and United.

I sort of hope 5th doesn’t offer up Champions League football. We aren’t ready in the slightest bit. I’d much rather enter the Europa League and be amongst the favourites to win that. We don’t have the threat of Kane throwing a strop for not being in the CL anymore + Levy and co raising the ticket prices despite us turning over the 8th most revenue in the world pretty much ensures we have the money to spend regardless.

10 games left. 6 of these are West Ham (A), Newcastle (A), City (H), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A), Chelsea (A).

Losses to Wolves and Fulham could prove very costly at the end of the season.

We’ll still finish top 5, today was truly appalling but we will pick up enough points. It’s how we actually do next season in Europe I’m more worried about. The extra games etc I’m very concerned that we will have more and more games like this

Have to be honest , I agree with Ange. Being in the champions league shouldn't be looked at as an achievement and I'm not convinced it changes much for us going forwards.

in terms of the team development maybe not but we know how it works with the purse strings. The reason Arsenal are where they are is because they spent about 150-200 two summers in a row. We need to do that but we won't if we don't get the extra income
