    Encouraging news about N'jie and honeslty not surprised about the complications on others considering a lot of ITKs were revolving around agents/clubs waiting for higher offers/bigger clubs, and that some of these would come down to near the end of the window. Hopefully it's not to the point...

    Unlucky on Carroll, looked very lively the couple of pre-season moments I saw him with lung busting runs and good movement. But the theme of this transfer window is "In Poch/Mitchell We Trust" so I guess he just didn't think he could use him.

    Didn't see the full game, but from pre-season and highlights that looks like the plan. Fullbacks pushed up beyond the halfway line with with Toby/Verts split and Dier dropping into the middle.

    Everyones actually moving around today and making runs. Admittedly part of it is on Milan giving so much space as opposed to Madrids 2 banks of four squeezing everyone out, but still, the lads look much more lively.
