The Welshman has revealed that he and Kane decided to swap positions right before he scored Tottenham’s equaliser.
“It was one of them, I’d been running the front-post a lot and no joy. So I thought about changing it up and I was in the right place at the right time,” Davies told Spurs Play.
“Harry usually does that one but we looked at each other to change positions for that one and one fell on my head. Yeah, I was in the right place at the right time.”
Spurs have been a real threat from set-pieces this season and Kane has had success from arriving at the back post.
