Forster
Sanchez - Dier - Tanganga
Porro - Sarr - Skipp - Perisic
Danjuma - Richarlison - Son

Subs
Austin Lenglet Romero Emerson Davies Devine Hojbjerg Kulusevski Kane
That backline is a recipe for disaster.

By all means bring in the likes of Sarr, Porro etc. but the back 3 should remain Romero, Dier and Lenglet to provide the solid base needed.

Kane, Emerson and PEH to the bench, Danjuma, Porro and Sarr to start. No other changes.

Honestly I’d go unchanged. Maybe Son in for Kulu who looks a little tired. Why mess up a chance at a very winnable competition.

Im baffled by anyone not starting Kane

Forster

Romero
Dier
Lenglet

Porro
Skipp
Sarr
Davies

Danjuma
Richarlison
Son

Keep the strong back line. Introduce Porro with the support of Romero, as we are going to need him. Davies, not Perisic, Jayden Bogle will smoke Perisic, he’s probably their best player. Sarr and Skipp have shown they are more than capable. Richy in his best position and rest Kane and Kulu for what will be a battle away at Wolves

Tanganga on the left? No thank you. Would rather Davies or Lenglet personally with one being rested.

People who say no change need to see the point that it is essential to give Porro and Danjuma a start to be able to integrate and make a mark.
Also Sarr should start as he earned it. We need a bigger part of the squad to get into a game rhythm.
Changes are fine, it's just doing too many all at once and it can stifle the rhythm and momentum already built up.

I thought we took a chance with the team vs Preston. We need to be just about full strength against this lot. Do we want to win this cup or not. Anybody thinking you can play Sanchez and Tanganga in a game like this needs to think again.
remember Boro last season.

I'd keep the back line the same so they can build on a few good games. Porro in for Emerson to get him started. Skipp and Sarr in CM and Kulu, Richarlison and Son up top. Danjuma needs some minutes at some point.

Seems like a natural game to give Porro another start. Maybe rotate both WBs with Perisic coming back in. Keep the back 3 settled. Even though I like Sarr I think keep the Skipp / PEH partnership in tact for another game as it’s working and the back 3 would need more protection if the WBs are Porro and Perisic.

If Kane needs a rest give it to him as a front 3 of Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski is still strong and gives Richarlison a game as a No.9. But if he’s fit and feeling good, start Kane as we’ll need some leadership out there.

I would make changes to the wing backs with Perisic and Porro coming in. I would keep PEH to play with Skipp. I would play Rich, Son and Kane up top.

I would need us to have the game won before we change the spine i.e. Dier, PEH and Kane...

I want to win this Cup and I think we can. We dont need to necessarily play our best 11 team but we need to play our first 11 spine which sets the tone and our intention

I'd love to see Richarlison get a start as the front man and Danjuma to get 90 from the left. I'd also like to see starts for Sarr and Porro.

For those who do not want rotation and players being rested ,unfortunately the answer is £££££ Money £££££, beat Sheff Utd and Spurs get £225,000 prize money , beat AC Milan next week and Spurs will get £9.1 million prize money so which will management give priority too. The game is not about glory anymore it's about money.
Even Sheffield rotate in their three FA games so far the 2nd choice goalkeeper has started.

Sheffield United are going for promotion, so of course they'd rotate if they could afford to? We need to keep players fresh and the odd rotation has to be done to keep everyone sharp.
