And just for a change Aaron Lennon is paraletic in Nu Bar.

Walker 2 drinks in hand to catch up.

English players just dont have the mentality to be winners.

Embarrasment

Away from spurs, Just two months ago Agbonlahor told me he will be done by 28. Was happier rumping birds in Vegas than playing for England. Too much too soon.

Wasted talent

Despise press. I've seen first hand, the kind of lies they are capable of. One of my best friends was hounded when dating a celebrity, and complete bullshit was written.

When you see players who have a professional obligation to keep fit, walking around a bar with their eyes rolling round their head before the sun has even set, it's just very sad, and obviously disappointing for a fan.

If it is true that our players are out pickling their livers, getting inadequate sleep and shagging all and sundry, then the club will deal with it appropriately (one would hope) and move them on.

No need of those whose eyes are not on the prize.

I thought 'Arry had put a stop to that mind of malarky?

I think Harry liked to think he had done a lot.

The reality? I am not so sure.

The truth is, we are going to need a man in charge who is not afraid to make hard decisions. AVB could be that man, if appropriately backed.

Sorry, I know it was a bad joke, not aimed to cause offense to you at all mate. As for players' behaviour, you're right they should look after themselves although I think in the case of professional sportspersons, the fact that they are mainly fit & healthy means that when they do drink, they are often lightweights & end up plastered on a few pints. I have mutual friends with a current Championship/former PL player & from anecdotes he looks after himself most of the time but he's a young lad & has occasionally been seen out in our local nightclub off his face but its just cos he drinks nothing in the week & thus, gets drunk too easily when he does go out. Might not be the case with our players but it does happen apparently...

True.
I've defended Lennon previously, but the rumours persist. When he scored in pre-season, I commented that it looked like someone was finally giving him shooting lessons. Since then he has been poor, again. Can't directly attribute that to shenanigans, but if AVB gets competition in for him and he doesn't seriously buck his ideas up, I believe AVB will be just the fella to make them hard decisions - his sytem is heavily dependent on a hefty goal contribution from the wings, and Lennon just doesn't chip in enough (made more frustrating because I feel he could).

We don't know yet who will be the string teams this season. Rest assured Toon away will be tough for every team in the league and West Brom beat Liverpool 3 nil last week of course.

1 point/ 2games.
Same as Real Madrid and same scores too.
This is carrying the new partnership too far.

If we're lucky we'll be up to 2 points after 8 games. History tells us that's when things really start to pick up.

Did you know...we only had two points from 8 games when Mr Redknapp took charge? FACT!

TBH, I thing the stand out stat from the first two games is that, featuring their all new strike force of Podolski and Giroud, the Goons have yet to score a goal (y)

Are you sure?

I am sure opinion is divided on that.
