Eriksen's a tricky one, enough potential for a higher price but not quite consistent enough yet.
He was dictating games for Ajax, we still haven't nailed down his best role.

He drifts in and out of form. If he didn't take free kicks well he'd be the same player Gylfi was for us, probably.

I don't think there's any consistent players in the squad except for Hugo, so it's not really a stand out issue.

I think we'd be insane to accept £20m for Eriksen.

I wouldn't sell for £20m but I think that's about his current value, he drifts in and out of games too much.
We couldn't replace him for that sort of money, I'm not sure who would buy him for more.

Soldado £5m
Chiriches £7m
Lamela £12m
Capoue £7m
Chadli £10m
Paulinho £9m

£50m in total.

I'd sell all of them plus Adebayor, Kaboul and Lennon (another £15m).

Trimmed squad plus £65m to spend.

Bring in three £15m players of quality who Poch actually wants (my preference would be 2 wingers with genuine pace and goal threat, and a holding midfield player who can actually pass the ball!).

Then buy three £5m, 30+ yr old players with lots of experience (definitely a CB and a ST to compete with Kane, and possibly a full back if Walker continues this awful form)

If we have any chance of mugging anyone off with Paulinho, we have to stop playing him for everyone to see ,especially when we are live on fucking TV.

Interesting accounting on the loss figure. The whole "Soldado only cost 14m" thing is basically an urban legend and should probably stopped being branded about as fact.

if the naughton sale is anything to go by the numbers will be higher:
Vlad - 6.5 mill or so
Capoue will actually fetch around 8
Pauli will be around 9
Soldado - big loss here will go for 1/2 price 12
Holtby - 5.5
Lennon 6
Ade, Kaboul - free
friedel - release (coaching)
Gets you to about 47 mill +5.5 for Naughts = 52.5
spent 8.5 in the winter window so gets you to 44 mill

Danny Ings, Toby Al, = 14 mill
30 mill on Morgan S

Lamela won't be sold. We've had a 21 million bid according to some paper's and rejected it.
Capoue is a 10 million player.
Vlad is a good right back and wont be sold at a loss.
Paul I would loan and hopefully recoup most of the outlay.
Eriksen won't be sold.
Bobby loan back to Spain.

If true, we are mad. He'll never be worth more than that.

I'm sorry, I have tried really hard, but he's not good enough. A wide player who is incapable of beating a man or delivering a decent cross from open play is not going to cut it in England.

You don't get space in this league, you have to create it for yourself.

I'd only keep him if I could be convinced that we could use him more effectively in a more central role. I just don't see that happening though. He still wants too much time on the ball and is constantly getting outmuscled.

If we get anywhere near £20m, I'd snap the hand off the club that offers it.

Sorry in advance. I know this will split opinion

He's exactly the type of player MP needs.
We don't play with wingers, the full backs provide width.
This isn't going to change with MP at the helm.
Arsenal and Liverpool games are perfect example of how we aspire to play.
