Hey I live in Canada and have tickets to the Tottenham VS arsenal game on Mrach 2nd. I'm just wondering when I will find out if the game time or day has been rescheduled due to European games or TV schedule or whatever, as I hope to book a flight that evening to go see my brother in Barcelona.

I've tried searching online but found nothing so far.

It wont get moved for Europa leage, the games for that are - 2nd leg 21st Feb and if we get to next round its 7th March. No idea about if sky will change the game to a sunday though.

Sky will definitely televise that game, so I'd expect that to be announced in the next couple of weeks (before end of January).

It will probably be moved to either the Saturday lunchtime (12:45 kick off) or Sunday lunchtime (13:30 kick off) rather than the Sunday 16:00 of Monday night slots as the police would rather have that game early in the day to minimise risk of trouble.

Do you think our game away vs Liverpool will get moved if we get to the next europa round? It's on 9th of march, and I'm supposed to go to that match. (from Norway)

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for it. Generally, how long before matches do they announce any fixture changes?

Basically fixtures get moved for the following reasons:
Europa commitments - Check the round dates for the EL, and games following will be moved to Sunday should we still be in europe.
FA Cup games - Progress in the F.A cup can have a big impact as these games are usually played on Saturday. Check the round dates and the replay dates.
Sky games - Sky announce the fixtures for the first three or four months in the summer and then announce subsequent games nearer the time. If you go to their list of scheduled live games you'll see that the last premiership game announced is our game against West Ham at the end of Feb, so we can assume that we will find out about two months before the game. Clearly if there are games announced for that weekend we won't be on TV. You can keep checking that link, and often this sort of thing is announced by the club on the official site and/or twitter. That link suggests that fixtures are announced in monthly groups, about two months prior, so we're due to hear March's fixtures any day now

Are the games against Lyon not on TV? The little TV icon isn't next to the games on the OS.

Pretty sure they will be. They don't seem to get announced until closer to the date but all group matches were on ITV4

OK, just that I saw that the EL games on ESPN have already been announced. I suppose by that deduction, if Chelsea and Newcastle are on ESPN, Spurs and Liverpool must be on ITV4.

Or Channel 5. But I think all or most of our group games were on ITV4, so I wouldn't be surprised if they continued showing ours.

Well that's ruined my plans. I now have a 4 and half hour drive after finishing work at 5 in the morning, to then drive back like a man possessed for work at 10:30 that night. Sky wankers ! What was wrong with Saturday lunch time ?

Typical, our baby is due on March 3rd. Hopefully she doesn't arrive on time or i might have a bit of a dilemma.

My dad just said he heard that the liverpool game might be moved even further if we or liverpool get to the 6th round of the fa cup. Anyone know anything about this? I'd hate to miss it and they won't refund our plane tickets. :(
